I did quite a bit of research on D Ribose and already trusted Carlyle.
The D Ribose appears to wake me up – I even sit straighter and can do unpleasant routine tasks faster to get on with my day. after taking a few months I have no noticeable side effects. I’m quite sensitive to medication and some supplements but so far – it has no downside for me. Some days I take 3 or 4 at a tine and others start with 2 and take 2 more after lunch which helps keep me going. Because of the xtra energy I think is lessens pain because I keep moving and almost always feel better when I’m active. I also take Irwin’s Brain Awake (yellow) which helps memory recall and has other brain plusses. The Brain Awake causes nausea if I take more than 1 so the D Ribose does a bit like 2 Brain Awake would do. The BA is quite expensive if you take the full recommended dose. The D Ribose is a very inexpensive choice- under 40c day for 4. Well worth every cent. Also the capsules aren’t the largest – just an average size and are quite easy to swallow. The people who say they have problems with the size must have problems with most supplements . I take a Magnesiun Malate 1000 mg with the D Ribose as recommended. It’s a large pill but goes down easy if i take with lots of water.

This will give you energy! Also, in powder form it makes a great sugar replacement. It will not raise your blood sugar.

I have fibromyalgia and Sjogrens. I read that D-Ribose can help with the pain/fatigue. Just started taking it, too soon to say if it is working or not. As far as value for money I think it is good and shipped very quickly.

The Good:
•D-Ribose is great for energy. If you have any kind of chronic disease, it is worth trying
The Bad:
•Price wise, this is more expensive then Bulk Supplements.
•Unlike other brands, this has Magnesium Stearate, Silica, and rice powder. These are not necessary ingredients and are only in there to make manufacturing cheaper. There are other companies that don’t use these ingredients and have price competitive D-Ribose
Final Verdict:
•Not bad, but Bulk Supplement’s capsules are cheaper and don’t have the extra ingredients. If this was on sale, it would be a good deal.

First to explain, I can’t give complete information about the effectiveness right away. Supplements and vitamins take a while to take effect. If I notice a difference right away, I’ll mention it. I also take supplements so these might work WITH what I’m taking.
I’ve never taken this supplement before but I do like it and will try to take it continuously. I don’t have a problem with sugar or anything like that, so I’m glad to have something that will help regulate that before anything happens.
