The La Pura “Advanced Probiotic” was obtained because I am currently using a PICC line and getting a daily heavy dose of Anti-Biotics. Anti-Biotics can kill the bacteria in your gut and cause digestion complications. This is better than having to eat Yogurt everyday. Since taking this Probiotic, I haven’t had any trouble, all is calm. I was concerned because usually when I take Probiotics, I start to have digestive issues. I have taken quite a few brands of Probiotics. I am several weeks in and all is well. The pill is fairly small and easy to swallow and I have no bloating (since I have had trouble with that in the past). I would say to store the bottle in your refrigerator after opening even though the instructions just say to store in a cool place. As it stands now, I would recommend this product.

I’ve had very mixed results with non-refrigerated probiotics. In general, they are “dead” or otherwise not strong or fresh enough to make a noticeable improvement.
I’d had some digestion problems for a few weeks and then gave these a try. They seemed to have really helped clear up the “problem” and I have continued taking 1 pill twice a day with a meal, usually breakfast and lunch to avoid any late night distress. I haven’t had any distress or stomach issues from these at all, but still use caution with late night use.
The pills are easy enough to swallow, easier than OTC pain relief liqui-gels and fish oil supplements. They do have a bit of an unpleasant flavor, but as long as you swallow them quickly with some water it’s negligible. The price seems reasonable compared to similar probiotic supplements. They do not create as much of an immediate/short term benefit as fresh or refrigerated probiotics do, but for long term seem to be helpful if you are consistent with use.

I didn’t feel a difference while taking these. The taste was okay. Not my favorite prebiotic.

Unfortunately, the La Pura Nutrition website does not include any information about testing the safety and ingredients of their supplements. This is a problem because the FDA does not regulate supplements and I have no way of knowing what is really in this pill. I have not noticed any positive or negative effect of taking this.
The pills are easy to swallow, being smaller than most supplement pill sizes (see picture). There is a slight, small aftertaste, but not too bad. The label on the bottle is sticky which is a little concerning to me.

I did a review some time ago on a probiotic and said it was the best……and it was very good. This one beats all of them so far. Every day since taking only one capsule as directed, I have been regular and feeling great. They are so good that I told my wife about them and she started taking them. She was also impressed. I received these as a Vine contributor but I will definitely purchase these as soon as I run out. The other probiotic was still very good but did not work as well as these. My top pick for now.
Update: My comment on the directions was wrong. I was looking at the ingredients for one serving and my wife pointed out that they advise to take up to 3 per day. I have only taken one per night and it works great for me. Just wanted to correct my directions above. These are still the best and I am going to keep on taking just one per night.
