I REALLY really love this product! Such a strong mood boost and also excels to “get you in the mood”!
The only downside is that it increases sebum production, and it very drastically has increased the acne on my face! For this reason I will take it sporadically, maybe once a week or so.
Another interesting aside is it made me smell like maple syrup, which I didn’t mind!

Nootropics Depot Fenugreek Extract Capsules
This supplement is contained in an reasonably sized, easy to swallow capsule that does not have a strong smell, flavor or aftertaste. I really appreciate that there is just one ingredient in the supplement and the serving size is just one capsule. The price point is very good for a 60 day supply. This product is a great choice if you are wanting to see if Fenugreek by itself is effective for you.

I just started taking these, so it’s too early to evaluate the benefits of these Nootropics Depot fenugreek extract capsules. I’ve read up on the benefits of fenugreek and have been blending fenugreek seeds into my smoothies for several years. There are many well documented health benefits of fenugreek – it is a source of iron, it can lower blood pressure and promote heart health, it is good for overall digestion and gut health, it can lower blood sugar levels, it can elevate mood and calm the nervous system, and boost the body’s androgen levels.
I am taking these mainly for the gut health and adaptogenic effects of fenugreek. I am trying to cut down on sugar and am trying to work out to build more muscle mass. I have been maintaining a healthy weight but want to keep my glucose levels steadily low and to get a little more muscle.
Hopefully, these capsules do the trick. They are pretty easy to swallow. Fenugreek doesn’t have any offensive odor and not much of a taste, so there’s no issue there. Don’t see a lot of added chemicals or fillers on the ingredients. At the suggested dose of one capsule daily, this bottle will last a couple of months. It will definitely give me a chance to evaluate the benefits of the the product.

Fenugreek is a widely known herb that’s easily available at a lower cost elsewhere. However, what sets the version from Nootropics Depot apart is their commitment to ensuring a
minimum of 2.5% Trigonelline and 2.5% Protodioscin in their formulation.
Typically, fenugreek isn’t considered a nootropic for enhancing focus; it’s often associated more with anti-depressant properties. Regarding Trigonelline and Protodioscin, there’s
not an abundance of research on their presence in fenugreek. Achieving higher concentrations of these compounds can be done by looking into other herbs like Tribulus terrestris.
This brings up a bit of confusion about why the company emphasizes sourcing their herbs to achieve a 2.5% level of these ingredients.
In essence, if you’re already experiencing benefits from fenugreek, this version sourced from Nootropics Depot might offer a dependable and potent supply.

Love the formula and standardization, taken first thing in the morning I will say the mood boost is the strongest thing about this. It’s kind of like the wellbeing boost of coffee with no stimulation. After about 2 weeks I went and got bloods done. My total and free test went up only very slightly with estrogen staying the same. If you’re buying this only for test and muscle then I’d suggest buying a fadogia or bulbine supplement, however the mood boost to me is the selling point IMO.

Looking over the purported benefits of ingesting fenugreek cuts a wide swath. What caught my eye was that it might contribute to the male body producing more testosterone. As we age, the body produces less and less T. That has a broad range of deteriorating effects including loss of bone and muscle mass and energy. Having recently ticked the Senior box, and noticing those declines in myself, I decided to take whatever safe natural T raising products I can, to see the result. I take a stack of several that are purported to be relatively safe, most notably DHEA, zinc, ashwaganda, shilajit, tongkat ali, and Fadogia Agrestis. I added fenugreek to that stack. Since the experiment wasnt done in a systematic way, adding one at a time or separately, I cant speak of which is doing the heavy lifting, though I believe the fadogia agrestis holds that honor, but the result was fairly dramatic. I havent had bloodwork done, though that is planned, I noticed a huge boost in my stamina and other indications the T is now humming. I need to experiment since there have been a few days that I felt perhaps too aggressive which might be a sign of too high levels. So whatever you’re looking for in a fenugreek product, do your due diligence and its always good to mention it to your healthcare provider. I plan to keep this as part of my stack routine and further explore the health and wellness effects.

I don’t know if it’s actually BECAUSE this is a more potent formula than previous Fenugreek extract supplements I’ve had before (which would honestly make it a good thing in the end) — BUT, these make my body fluids have a strong odor. And to be perfectly honest it’s not like a bad odor or anything, it’s almost a kind of pleasant sweet maple syrup-like scent if anything? In a certain light, it’s kind of fun at first, until the essence starts to drive you nuts little by little. Still however, another similar product I took a year ago didn’t have this effect. So perhaps it can’t be helped when you go stronger with this extract, but just wanted to give a heads up. It won’t stop me from buying the product again! (And when I say fluid, I mean ALL OF YOUR FLUID. Maybe.)
