One of my pet peeves is when supplements fail to disclose each ingredient’s dosage clearly on the label.
Most of this product’s supposed fat-burning ingredients, namely Horseradish Tree Extract, Curry Tree Extract, and Turmeric are hidden behind a ‘Patented Blend.’ Not that it matters, though, as I can’t find any studies backing weight loss claim for any of them. Also, Berberine and Chromium have not shown significant weight loss benefits in healthy individuals.
I’m not really too overweight, though I noticed I’ve gained a couple of pounds over the holidays. I’m not convinced this product will really do anything. I think watching what I eat and working out will offer better results.
Also, though the product page mentions it’s a ‘non-stimulant thermogenic fat burner,’ the first time I took it was at night before heading to the gym and was unable to sleep most of the night. This may just have been a coincidence, but now I only take it in the morning and have been sleeping well ever since.
While I’ve ordered other products from Force Factor, and feel the brand is trustworthy, I’m not a fan of this particular product.

I appreciate that the box was sealed – and there was a shrinkwrap safety seal on the bottle as well as a seal on the top of the bottle. When I opened the bottle, though, there was quite a bit of powder that had escaped from the yellowish brown (turmeric colored) capsules (see the photo).
The bottle indicates that you should take 3 pills a day (but should consult with a healthcare professional if you use prescription medications). The bottle says “Users Lost ~12 Lbs starting in just 14 days”. What’s interesting about that is it hard to figure out the meaning of the statement. It doesn’t necessarily mean that users lost around 12 pounds in 14 days. The addition of the word “starting” doesn’t say how long it took to lose the average of 12 pounds – but I guess someone did do it in 14 days. (I’m not sure that’s a healthy amount of weight to lose in 2 weeks – but I know it is humanly possible because I’ve done it in the past.)
Anyway, I taken the pills for nearly two weeks so far – and I have dropped a couple of pounds (but that could be for other reasons – I do tend to fluctuate a lot). We’ll see how it goes – but I was impressed by the packaging (but wish the capsules didn’t have so much spillage).

I have been taking this supplement daily, pretty consistently over the past 3+ weeks, so I feel like I can give it an honest review now. My weight is down by about 1.5 to 2 lb since I started taking it. I have also significantly increased my activity level over the past 5 weeks. I have been able to modify my eating habits and have been fairly successful at almost never binge-eating (usually happens at night for me after dinner). I have stopped my crazy over-indulgence of chocolates and processed snacks which was pretty bad during the week of Christmas. In other words, while taking this supplement, I have been able to get my appetite better under control fairly consistently. I do not know if this is attributable to sheer willpower and then keeping up with better habits (behavioral factors), better emotional and psychological regulation, taking these pills, or some combination of the above. I will say that this supplement did play a direct role on multiple days, in preventing me from snacking between breakfast and lunch. Around 10:30 or 11 I would pull out a bar or some other snack, only to remember that I should take my Force Factor pills instead and hold out til my next meal. The act of using the supplement as a buffer of sorts to eating, plus drinking water instead, helped me to save myself from those calories on those days. The supplement has been a kind of ritualistic reminder of my weight loss goal, and helped me feel more motivated to make good choices throughout the day. I cannot say for certain that I have felt any physical effects that I would directly credit to these pills, and I really don’t know if the active ingredients made any meaningful impact on my metabolism. But I think there is a good chance these are doing something, and would have a more measurable effect if I were to take these pills over the course of 2-3 months instead of just one month. Swallowing the capsules is slightly off-putting because they are all slightly dusted with a coating of the powdery contents. I can taste the dry-spicy horseradish, turmeric etc and I don’t love it. Not the worst thing in the world, but I wish I didn’t have to taste it every time I put them in my mouth. Bleh.
Am I glad I got to test these out, and will I finish the bottle? Yes. Would I spend money to buy another bottle and continue this regimen? No. Your mileage may vary. Probably wouldn’t hurt to try, to see if this helps improve your satiety levels & blood sugar, therefore reducing cravings and giving you a little extra oomph in your healthy eating/weight loss efforts. Just keep in mind that there are no magic weight loss pills. You have to burn more calories than you consume, period. (I used to count calories but no longer do so, as it was almost becoming like an ED for me.) Good Luck to you!

These came at an interesting time: Christmas/New Year
I’m halfway through the bottle, and while I haven’t really seen any positive/negative effects just yet, my first two weeks on them has coincided with the Holiday Slide on the diet. This felt like an interesting test to see just how much they “boost” metabolism.
Thus far, I am not seeing the suggested 12lb losses, I have certainly been consuming more food than normal, and didn’t see a big shift up in the scale. That being said, just getting back to eating normally, I have seen 4lbs come off in about 5 days.
Will update after the bottle is complete!

I hoped these capsules would be magic, but they were not.
