I’m not sure why this works so well as compared to other brands/forms, but it does. This product completely changed my palate overnight to where I now crave healthier foods. This one, along with the liquid magnesium from Genesta and Pure Encapsulations , all very good.

Giving this three stars as a neutral review.
I got it in the hopes it could help me sleep better. I’ve used it many nights, following the dosage suggestion, and haven’t noticed any difference. I already take daily magnesium and B-complex supplements, so maybe this just isn’t going to have the same impact on me.
The product itself has a pleasant smell and taste (unless you don’t like oranges). It is a little thick, but it all goes down in one easy gulp, leaving no aftertaste or strange mouthfeel.

This isn’t really a proper liquid supplement, which I figure is why they call it a tonic. There’s gritty powder floating around in the bottle which naturally settles to the bottom. Some of the powder in the bottle I received caked together into little chips which ended up in my mouth for the last couple doses at the bottom of the bottle. I found it’s important to shake the bottle as vigorously as possible before pouring, and to pour quickly before the powder starts to settle in order to get a consistent dose. Even after doing this I could tell I was getting a significantly higher dose as I reached the end of the bottle because of the settling of the powder to the bottom. This is otherwise a great supplement. It’s very effective and it has the “better” type of B6 (p5p). So, it’s got that going for it…which is nice…but it’s very difficult to get a consistent dose every day with this stuff. Just so you know before ordering.

Update: after I ran out of this bottle I purchased a different magnesium (the popular Natural Calm brand), which I also like, but my period cramps returned and my nails aren’t growing like crazy like they did with the this one. I will switch back to this brand and give another update!

Thanks to this supplement (+1000mg of taurine with each dose) I had a period without major cramps for the first time in my life. I’ve taken magnesium before but I think my body absorbs this liquid form better. Ive taken on empty stomach and with food and it doesn’t cause any stomach upset or diarrhea for me either.
It doesn’t taste awful either, it’s kind of sweet, although the texture is chalky so I highly recommend you mix it with water or juice.
One last thing, I only take it at night because it tends to relax me and make me sleepy. A plus in my book.
Highly recommend to anyone in need of a gentle yet effective magnesium!

It seems the company has solved their clumpy texture problem, this is very smooth and easy to swallow. The orange flavor is not too overwhelming either.
I have issues with swallowing pills, especially the dry powdery kind like magnesium usually is, so this has been great for me.
I get killer muscle cramps during the night and they have all but disappeared, but I haven’t noticed a difference in getting to sleep however.
Highly reccomend this to anyone who can’t or doesn’t like swallowing horse pills.
