Over the years we have taken great pride in keeping our immune systems at top notch especially, when it comes to having a public school aged kiddo and the bugs we’ve encountered.
That being said, we aren’t strangers to the many beneficial reasons of gut health ( As EVERYTHING in your human vessel is directly related to your gut!) and using probiotics to assist in this process.
Given that I myself have tried Pro- Ven products in the past, l was pretty confident in the integrity, performance and value of their products so it was a no brainer to purchase and give their Children’s Probiotic Supplement a try.
Of course the statement on the product ” Shown to reduce absenteeism from school by 30%” instantly caught my eye.
Once again Pro- Ven has come thru!
If anything, I value that this Probiotic Supplement is geared just for Children plus that it has the oh so convenient and needed benefits of vitamins of C & D.
Also adding- When it comes to anything that goes in her mouth, our kiddo ( 7 years old) is quite picky so as for taste/ texture, it had to be a Win in her book.
Dare I say that since we started this LAB4 Probiotic with vitamins C & D for Children Supplement, we haven’t encountered the flu or cold buggies plaguing her school. Icing on the cake! Our kiddo doesn’t mind chewing up her daily probiotic tablet and appreciates the ( as the food critic she is) the subtle Strawberry Cotton Candy flavor. To whom this reaches and needs to be passed on to as I’m not able to reach anyone in corporate USA office or Wales.
We would love for our daughter to be able to continue her journey ( been adding them into her daily routine for months now. ) with your Pro-Ven Probiotics Fit For School Dietary Supplement but just came across a rather concerning sight when giving her , her morning tablet today. All but 2 tablets are all white like shown and seen for months in person and the side of the box? The 2 off colored tablets ( brown speckled vitamin looking tablets)don’t look anything like what we’ve seen or have been giving her. Sadly, we will have to stop use until we find out what these foreign tablets are. Based on the benefits/results and wanting our daughter to take a daily Probiotic for good EVERYTHING! We continually purchased via your shop on Amazon. In fact, we were to do another order soon as we are down to the last packet and we don’t want to have to find another pediatric Probiotic supplier.
We are truly hoping you can make this right.

Bought this in Oct 2023. The box didn’t come in perfect shape but it says the expiry date is in 2025 so we just kept the product. We stored the vitamin pills in the cabinet away from sunshine. We opened this box today and found that one pill turned into weird color. It is likely that the package seal failed leading to the mold in the probiotic pill. We are not sure if the entire pack is safe for consumption and decide to throw it away.
I buy 3 box for my kids! All are expired in May 2023!! How to give my kids to take it!! –
Probiotics have potential benefits for overall well-being, immune, and digestive health. But sometimes taking a pill is not easy, whether a child or an adult, so having a chewable option can be handy. This Pro-Ven Probiotic supplement contains a blend of 4 probiotic strains: 2 from the lactobacillus genus and 2 from the bifidobacterium genus. One tablet provides 12.5 billion CFU. I was happy to see that the product claims to guarantee potency until the end of shelf life and is even shelf stable. The Lab4B probiotics seems to be reputable with well known strains and even some clinical trials showing immune benefit. I like that the product is naturally sweetened and contains xylitol instead of sugar. Xylitol will not cause cavities and even has oral health benefits.
The added vitamin C and vitamin D are a nice touch as well. Although there is a typo: it states 200mg of vitamin D. That would be 8,000,000 IU – an extremely high amount. Even if it was 200mcg, it would 8,000 IU, which is still quite a lot. The The Daily Value for vitamin D is 20 mcg (800 IU) and if this product is claiming to be 50% DV, then it should be 10mcg. So I’m not sure what the actual accurate amount is and that is why I deducted 1 star.

My daughter has been using this product for a while and I honestly cannot attest to its effectiveness. She has not complained about taking them or mentioned anything about not liking them, so I will assume that as far as taste they are fine. I would have loved to say that clearly made a difference in my daughter’s digestive health but I honestly cannot. I had great expectations as she has struggled with constipation and a lot of the reviews mentioned that this probiotic really improved the kid’s digestive health. In my daughter’s case, her stools have remained basically the same and constipation continues.
Do not take this review as negatively, rather as a one size does not fit all, and in this case, it didn’t.
