I purchased these activated charcoal capsules to use in a DIY charcoal face mask. The capsules were easy to cut open after a bit of trial and error. Any mess that was made was easy to clean up. My face mask turned out great. The charcoal seems to help draw out impurities and tone skin.

I was looking for a good quality activated charcoal in order to help my body detoxify from various treatments for my health. After using just 1 of the pills, it began working within minutes and gave me great relief. The bottle contains enough pills to last a reasonable amount of time. I’ve only had to go through about 2 bottles of this in the last couple years, but every time I have needed it, it has been there for me and worked. I also like the lid that snaps the bottle shut, so your pills don’t accidently fall out or get lost at any point when moving the bottle around the house. Other bottles are a little more inconvenient with the often used twist on caps, but this solves that problem with the snap addition. Convenience goes a long way!
The only problem I might point out is that the pills may be too big for some people to swallow that have a difficult time swallowing pills. The pills can be opened and the contents can be digested that way if there is a problem. If there is no problem swallowing pills, then this product shouldn’t be any sort of issue.

It seems “odd” that I’d do a review for a bottle of charcoal caps. My main goal really is to let readers know how awesome charcoal works to ease a queezy stomach, reduce dangers of food-poisoning, remove toxins from the blood/bowels/body. It is wise to take charcoal (2 caps with a full glass of water) once a month or more, just for routine cleansing. I’ve been using this for about 29 years. It is perfectly safe and, in my opinion, should be kept in every household. I keep them with me, and they’ve proven themselves helpful. Seriously, if you have gas pains from eating certain foods that didn’t agree with you (onions, fried foods, for example), your pain will disappear after 5 minutes of taking charcoal. At least, it works for me.
