I took one pill when I first got it, and nothing had happened. I usually take shilajit and that stuff has been amazing but I had to drop down to every other day, bc otherwise I’d be in the bathroom all day, so I thought I could alternate with the aloe pills to help keep me regular. I have hashimotos, so slow digestion is a known issue. Well I took another aloe pill last night bc I was skipping my shilajit today. I had some movement at work today and I knew it wasn’t complete. I just didn’t realize that later in the evening (it’s midnight right now..) the remaining movement would be accompanied by an exorcism. Now it wasn’t a violent explosion per say, but it was something that could have been climbed by the most avid of mountain climbers. And when I thought it was done, there was more. I’m positive there were meals I ate 3 years ago. I was sweating and begging baby Jesus to let me keep the sphincter I was born with, in it’s proper place. I thought I was turning inside out. Now I know what happens when someone dies and they soil themselves. Bc EVERYTHING comes out. I mean, I feel better, but IDK if that was worth it. I think I’ll just stick to my trusty bitter shilajit, or look into trying triphala. Aloe latex is a stimulant laxative like Senna, so regular use can end up causing dependence. Def not what I’m looking for.

A co-worker of mine has similar tummy troubles as I do – IBS related and VERY painful. She read some silly article and recommended that I try Aloe Vera capsules or drinks (yuck!) to help with the pain and being regular with less bloating/gas.
I really think she saved my life. I haven’t had to make any radical life changes or drink chunky aloe pulp. No crazy diets or prescriptions. Just a simple supplement. My stomach is flat (except when I overeat HAHA!) and I go to the bathroom REGULARLY AND NORMALLY. I have gas like a normal person not like a disgusting heathen.
Most importantly, I feel normal and I am not in pain. The upside is my husband is happier too, he doesn’t have to see me upset with tummy issues very often anymore.
BTW, I buy this with subscribe & save. Save some $$ get them every other month so I never run out. Win!
