I first started using this product after the results of a drug I had taken when I cancer. I took it tamoxifen for 5 years and now I have sores that have came out on my skin.
I went to a bio-chemist and she told me to start taking pure Borage Oil and that would help heal the skin. I have taken it for about a year now and I have a very few sores. These were embarrassing and continuing taking the Borage Oil (Pure) until they are all gone. I know that with the number of sores I had a year isn’t much time to give it!!

I’ve been taking two of these a day (one at breakfast, one with dinner) for over a year on the advice of a naturopathic doctor. I also follow a diet extremely rich in omega 3’s, including oil supplements of high quality fish oil Vital Nutrients – Ultra Pure Fish Oil 360mg/240mg 120 gels and flax oil Barlean’s Organic Oils High Lignan Flax Oil, 250 Count. I avoid all land animal meats, dairy that isn’t fat free, soy and nuts, all foods rich in omega 6’s which promote inflammatory responses.
I couple this with Source Naturals Calcium D-Glucarate 500mg, 120 Tablets (2 pills twice a day) and Source Naturals DIM (Diindolylmethane) 100mg, 120 Tablets (2 pills a day). This combination of supplements and diet has been highly effective at helping balance my estrogen levels and mitigate symptoms of endometriosis.

I have chronic hives & need to be careful with fish products, so I use this as my oil supplement. An unintended, but awesome, side effect has been that my fingernails have become super strong while taking this. I’ve never been able to grow them before, but now they’re naturally long & pretty. I tried another brand when this one was out of stock, same dosage, & my nails started breaking again. Hopefully it’s doing other good things for me internally, but either way I have no negative reactions & the nails make me happy, so I’m sticking with it. This has become a favorite supplement brand for me, so I hope they keep it up w/their quality & variety!
