I only buy Now supplements. I read that a lack of zinc could be the cause of my weak easy to break fingernails so I started on the supplement and within a month they were much stronger. I can’t say what it’s done for my eyes, I don’t wear glasses.

I order these every fall for the winter to give that extra zinc boost in helping my natural immune system. The copper is necessary for zinc absorption but too much copper can cause other problems. According to what I’ve read, this is the right ratio and the proper amount of each. It’s a decent price and I always stay at least a bottle ahead in my stack. Been taking them now for about 10 years and I’ve only gotten one head
cold, and it was minor.

Love this product. I was dealing with something akin to chronic fatigue syndrome for a year or more, and then it got bad. I could barely function or get out of bed. Got blood work done to see if there was something wrong, it came back clean. So I researched supplementation and came across Zinc (among others). This brand came highly recommended so it was my first go at it. Of all the supplements I took (Ubiquinol, D3, Power Greens, B12, Magnesium) it was the only one that had any noticeable effect, and it was like night and day. I slowly worked the supplements into my regimen, spacing them out by a week so I could track the effects. Nothing worked, and Ubiquinol and Magnesium actually had a negative effect.
Anyways, when I got to Zinc the effects were immediate. The next morning I felt like I’d gotten a good night’s rest for the first time in a long time, and that feeling continued. I tried pairing it with Magnesium (as seems popular) but I went right back to feeling in the dumps, so I stopped that. I’ve been taking this Zinc supplement for about 8 months now and I love it. And every once in a while I forget to take it before bed and I know immediately in the morning that I forgot because I feel like dung.
I still take my D3 because it does no harm and it’s probably good behind the scenes, but I’ve scuttled all the others and just make sure to take my Zinc every night (after dinner/before bed). I’ve heard that it’s bad to take it on an empty stomach because it can cause extreme discomfort, but I’ve never experimented with that, and I’ve never felt discomfort after taking it a few hours after dinner so I’m sticking with that formula. It’s noteworthy that this product comes with Copper in it, because the word is that Zinc supplementation can gradually cause a Copper deficiency, so they’ve added the proper amount of Copper here to make up for that. Excellent stuff. I’ve bought a number of bottles of this product, and even gifted some to family. It’s one of the best lifestyle changes I’ve made in the past decade, by far. Love it. Will keep coming back and I don’t know what I’d do without it. Thank you! Highly recommended.

I take this as part of my daily regimen. As always with NOW products…no complaints!

Everything is great about this product except the capsule has no marks or labeling. I take another vitamin that is exactly the same shape, size and color, and discovered the issue when I bumped my daily container and they came out into my lap. I had to throw them away because I couldn’t distinguish the difference.

I have read about zinc and this is the best I have learned about. I have tried others but this is hands down the best

I’m not a medical professional, but it was suggested to take zinc and vitamin D in early 2020 as a way to help boost the immune system in hopes of fending off a certain bug – I’ve been taking both faithfully ever since and (knock on wood) so far, so good. I take several other NOW Foods vitamins and use many other NOW products and have always been satisfied with their quality and results.

I believe this is a good zinc source since if is balanced with copper. My research on zinc led me to look for a supplement with it. As your zinc level increases your copper decreases, so it helps to have a little copper in your zinc.
I just wish I could still get the single count bottle instead of the 2-count.
