A scoop is included. When weighed, a scoop of powder accurately weighs about 11g as indicated by the serving size.
Claims to be type 1 ad 3 collagen extracted from pasture raised, grass fed cows.
Indicates it can be added to any drink or food. My preference is hot coffee. It dissolves with moderate stirring. You can see the residue from it atop my coffee which is normal. It does have a more prominent flavor than other collagen powders I’ve tasted.
Instead of reaching out to people they actually want to work with, they are kind of shamelessly asking for influencers to contact them via qr code stuck directly on the jug. That’s very lazy to me and shows the manufacturer is really only interested in ‘going viral’ rather than having a quality product.
I take collagen regularly and I did not see a decline in anything while using this specific product, so it seems to act as intended. At 11g a serving, there are about 41 servings in this container. While $50 is not ridiculous for 41 servings, there are other collagen products that have even less of a flavor for a slightly more affordable price.

This is me, committed to the 1-year collagen challenge I set for myself to try to arrest some problems as a result of health issues. I’ve been jumping about trying out different brands/makers of collagen powder. I have a general list of minimum general requirements and then off I go. So what did I think of this one?
Smell: This is a big deal because it shouldn’t have any sort of odd odor. Thankfully, this one doesn’t. Not quite unscented, but close.
Flavor: Unflavored on the container and when mixed, no noticeable taste, so great there.
How well it mixes: Bit surprised, but yea, this mixes quite well in liquids. Better in my hot coffee and tea, but it did okay in my juice as well.
Overall: In terms of collagen amount (11g), this is at the lower end of what my daily intake is, but with 10g of protein, it’s a nice morning boost that helps to keep me full. And at 41ish servings, it gives me a month’s worth for the price. I will say that I wasn’t expecting the shaker and other samples that came with it. Bit of a nice add-on, if you don’t already have one.

I was concerned when this collagen powder first arrived because the packaging makes it seem like a generic product that’s sold to distributers to brand as their own. The plastic canister is not printed as most are, but instead has a wrap around label and a sticker on the lid. The bottle and the box the product came in also have large QR scan code stickers on them, encouraging people to scan to get free products, And finally, while the blender bottle is a nice quality, it’s also from another brand (Zurvita), that seemingly has nothing to do with the brand of the collagen. This made me wonder about the Omnite brand – they’re out of California and look a bit like a start-up, but seem legit. On the Omnite website, however, this exact same product has significantly more product details listed and is $18 less expensive…with free shipping. The vendor selling this product on Amazon is out of China and seems to be a distributer that acquires products from other companies to resell. Nothing wrong with this, but it makes me think this is either old or damaged product that the manufacturer didn’t want to (or couldn’t) sell. Regardless, I’m confused by the way this product is being promoted and sold.
This all being said, the collagen powder dissolves super easily and doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind. It does have a very slight bovine hide smell and taste, but this is manageable. The powder doesn’t change the texture of my almond milk, and if anything, seems more watery than others I’ve tried. Each scoop size is 11g, which is a little on the smaller side. I find 15-18g of collagen to be most effective for me. Overall, the powder itself seems okay, but there are better options available that cost less and that don’t have questionable origins. The expiration date on the bottle I received was for 8 months out, but I don’t think I’ll be using any more of this powder.

What I love about this collagen powder is it is from 100% grass fed cattle. So healthier than the rest.

P.S. I got this again when I ran out and it is so far my favorite collagen powder and I’ve tried a ton of them lately. This dissolves much better than most of the powders. The canister is easy to open and it lasts for a while.
