Not sure if marine collagen is more pricey than bovine but the price is a little steep on this compared to comparable bovine collagen. It is easy to take, and I didn’t have any side effects. I didn’t notice a difference from the kind that I normally use so at this point I can’t say it is better or worse. These supplements take a long time for you to be able to see a difference.

If you aren’t keen on taking bovine collagen for whatever reason (health, diet, religion), then this is a decent alternative. I’m not a big fan of powdered collagen cause it never really dissolves in any liquid you put it in, so having it in pill form is a nice change. I have been taking the recommended dose now for a month and I’ve not noticed any drastic improvement in skin quality. My nails seem to be growing a bit faster and a little stronger so maybe that is a result of the product.
The pills are standard supplement pill size. My only gripe with the product is the capsule used. It’s that material that kind of sticks in your throat a little if you don’t take a HUGE sip of water with them. Otherwise they are a good addition to my morning self-care routine.

I see absolutely no difference in my skin taking this supplement but I’m not surprised. The average collagen drink has 10 grams of protein. This contains about 1 mg in two capsules. The average vitamin C capsule I take has 500-1000 mg of vitamin C and this has 24 mg in two capsules.
I take really high quality supplements that are third party tested and the best absorbable forms available and I just don’t think this compares to what I normally take. I thought with a name like “skin quencher” that it would contain some hyaluronic acid but it only contains fillers like rice. Worse, it contains sunflower extract, which some people are allergic to, and carageenan, which is controversial at best.
There are some really good skin formulas on the market that I’ve seen some positive differences with, but this isn’t one of them.
I find my skin gets more benefit from taking a really good third-party tested high protein collagen powder with a mixture of fish and beef protein (you may have to take two separate powders for the best results). Make sure they are both tested for heavy metals. Then take a really good Liposomal vitamin C, Vitamin E Tocotrienols, Omega 3s, and add in Astaxanthin, especially in the summer and you should have a good foundation for your skin.

I received this item for free from Vine. I have been using collagen for over 7 years and I credit it as part of why as I’m approaching 40 and still have no crows feet or barely visible wrinkles. You don’t need to spend this much money to get a quality collagen. I swapped my regular collagen (which is 1/4 the price) with this and didn’t notice any difference from my change in regiment – meaning my cheaper collagen worked just as well as this. I wouldn’t have ever gotten this if I hadn’t gotten it for free. This also confirms that my cheap stuff is as good of quality.

I’m in my early 40’s and started a fitness journey this year that has resulted in weight loss but has left my loose skin looking worse for wear. I’m really enjoying the weight loss but feel like I look like I’m aging even faster! I was excited to get to try this product but haven’t finished off the whole bottle yet. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I haven’t experienced any negative side effects from taking them. But I haven’t seen much improvement in my skin either- definitely not enough to justify spending the current price of $52 for a one-month supply. I’ll be finishing off the bottle and will update this review if my opinion changes, but I’m not planning to re-order them as of now and wouldn’t personally recommend to my own friends and family.

Like that these are easy to swallow with no bitter aftertaste. Have added to my daily vitamin regimen for several weeks now with no side affects. I drink a full glass of water with these and drink lots of water throughout the day that definitely helps my body stay hydrated for better looking skin.

I’ve only been taking these supplements for 3 weeks, which is a relatively short time to show any effects, but already my skin is brighter, firmer, and feels more moisturized even without a change in skincare. I had heard about these supplements from another source and was excited to try them, and I am now a believer. The pills themselves are on the larger side, but are capsules and easy to swallow (I can’t stand supplements in tablet form). I’ve experienced zero negative side effects – only amazing results!

I normally take 2500mg of collagen daily through supplementation with collagen powder. Each serving of these 2 capsules on the other hand, only provides 1.2mg of collagen. This is a very small dose of collagen that I don’t think has much benefit. If anything, this can be used as a stepping stone while you titrate your dose up with powder later. But I don’t understand why the price is so high for such a small amount of ingredients.
