Amazon Customer –
I’ve ordered this several times and have really enjoyed it. I just opened my new bottle and the tablets have powder all over the outside of them so I need to throw them away. Very frustrated that I can’t return and get a refund.

Another great product from Healthy Gut. I take two capsules at night to calm me and help me sleep. This is also part of my regimen to keep me regular. Check out the videos from this company. They are very intentional about what they put into their products.

I am loving Holozyme and Magnesium HP. They are a true game changer for my gut health and sleep.
Precise Disarray –
I take magnesium every single night for the past 10+ years to help me sleep, and the fact that it is so integral to our overall health. It has been said for years that there simply is not enough magnesium in our foods (soil depletion), and that since we need a 2:1 ratio of calcium, our mag levels are further pushed down since calcium is fortified in everything–creating a great imbalance in ratio. That being said, there are many forms of magnesium (chelates: they are all chelated with a salt or other mineral or amino acid. All of them. Very rare to see something just labeled “magnesium”. It has to come from somewhere).
As to what kind and what amount will be up to you. Our body absorbs these different forms uniquely, meaning we are ultimately getting a different amount than someone taking the exact same formula and dosage. So any company touting their product as better than another is both right and wrong in the same breath. One chelate may technically have better bioavailability, but our individual use of it will vary. I always say to try different chelates (mag glycinate, mag taurate, mag aspartate, mag citrate, mag oxide, etc etc etc, and to take a look at which does what—but again, how your body responds witll vary). Magnesium Oxide is considered the worst for availability, but… it works for people. I like adding it in for sleep, but I am careful to not take much becuase it can have a laxative effect. Or get my gut rumbling. Some are absorbed quickly and are used up quickly, some dont have a lot of absorption, but last a long time in the body, and so on.
That being said.. how much is in a dosage? Unless a product specifically says “X% elemental magnesium from X amount of magnesium (chelate)”, I just assume they are referring to overall amount, not elemental. This doesnt say, and if the 360 mg is not elemental (usually wouldnt be, but the super high price makes me wonder), then there isnt much in here. Maybe I am wrong, but since I am left to try to figure it out, my train of thought is this: the amount /”weight” of THIS magnesium glycinate says 360 mg “magnesium (magnesium glycinate)- 90% of DV”. But does it? That may not the amount of ELEMENTAL. Elemental is what is being referred to in terms of how much our body needs. NOT the chelated form. Why? because not all chelates have the same amount of magnesium. For example, magnesium glycinate has 14% elemental (actual) magnesium. SO for every 1000 g, there is 140 mg of magnesium. Other forms are more or less, and it is important to know. When a company does not list the elemental, then I have to do the math. This 360 mg of magnesium glycinate is roughly 52.7 mg of actual, elemental magnesium per dose. They mention a vague “20%” later in the product description, but Im confused to what they mean.
I use a variety of forms, and often include glycinate in the mix. I dont stick to just one. I switch it up, I even switch up brands. I ay take a single source, or may include multiple. I always take it at night, as it helps me sleep. Amazing. This falls in line with other brands of similar amount, and I have been sleeping fine with it. I rate on that, and my overall impression of the information provided. I dont rate on price, but I comment. This is a extraordinarily high price for magnesium glycinate. I like that it doesnt have additional fillers. But their description is sure full of fillers. Doubt I would have ordered this normally.
3.5 stars, but overall 4 because it does seem to work.

I read on their website that some magnesiums could lower stomach acid which I don’t need..so I wanted to try this one. I felt a big difference in digestion in less than 1 week.
