I love this product it dessolves very easily and it tastes delicious. I break my fast with it and drink it while I work out, it is a plus that it has 10g of protein. My skin is in excellent conditions and my nails grow long and strong. I have been taking it for 2 years now, and every time there is a special I take advantage to stock up on it. The strawberry flavor is my favorite, I’ve tried so many other brands before and I personally love this one.

Although I do like the individual stick packs, there is no tear mark or perforation to open them, other than using scissors I couldn’t find a descent way to open the individual packs. I initially tried adding the mix to my regular vanilla whey protein, it’s pretty sweet and creates a noticeable difference in sweetness but its drinkable and I will probably stick to this method. I then tried mixing it just with water, it clumps pretty bad and mixing with a spoon didn’t cut it and I had to transfer it to a shaker cup. Mixed alone with water the flavor was an odd combination of way too sweet and way too sour at the same time that just wasn’t for me. It’s better tasting alone than some other collagen proteins I have tried but a little too much added sweetness/flavor for being the best when mixed.

Now that I am a Senior Citizen and I can see that time has started to take it’s toll on me. My joints ache from time to time, my fingernails are getting brittle and are easily torn or cracked, etc. I decided to try to do something about it and started looking into Collagen and Collagen Peptides
Collagen is found in the connective tissue of animals (like chicken, beef and fish). Hydrolyzed Collage, also called Collagen Peptides, are short chains of amino acids extracted from full length Collagen. (Basically breaking down whole Collagen protein into smaller pieces which is easier for your body to digest). I just mix it with plain ice water in a shaker cup, and it has a pleasant, lemony taste to it (not too strong)

The taste is disgusting and the stevia gives it a funny aftertaste that doesn’t help either. I’ve had to mix it with other juices or drink mixes to cover the taste and you still can taste the funky undertones. The only nice thing I can say is that it dissolves quickly. I typically take Collagen For Her and tried this to see if I liked it better – I will only be ordering Collagen For Her from now on!

I have been using MD Ana Fit’s Grass-Fed Hydrolyzed Collagen Powder Packets for the past week and am very happy so far. Not only does the powder taste good (I really enjoy the strawberry flavor), but the packets make it simple and quick to use each day. Although I typically mix unflavored collagen into coffee, these don’t taste great in coffee so I prefer to have it in water or almond milk. Collagen is beneficial for hair, nails, skin, and joint health so I find it a worthwhile supplement.
I also appreciate that the powder is made with high-quality, non-GMO, hormone-free, and gluten-free ingredients. It is naturally sweetened with stevia and colored naturally with red beet color. There is also 50mg of vitamin C per packet.
The stick packs are also a convenient and easy way to take the powder on the go, whether I am at home or traveling. I simply mix a packet into my morning smoothie or water and I’m good to go.
