As others have said, this is very potent and I don’t recommend taking it by itself because it may sting a little. Don’t let the smell or the taste scare you away. So far, I have used it and avoided the flu during this bad flu season in the northeast. If I feel a sore throat or sinus infection coming on, I take a dropper of this in blue gatorade and I always feel better in the morning. I believe that it is important that people know that this does contain alcohol, albeit, a small amount. This is important to some people who are trying to stay away from alcohol. I actually like the strong taste of oregano, it reminds me of a great piece of pizza or an Italian hoagie when I burp during the day. I always keep this in my vitamin cabinet and I buy it for all my family members.
