I got this for the benefits it may possibly have with my skin health as well as my immunity. I take about 15,000 mgs of collagen daily for my skin but am always happy to get more. And I take about 200 mgs of Hyaluronic Acid daily and once again happy to get more. Collagen is the primary substance our skin is made of and we start losing that usually about our late 20’s. It’s also thought with Hyaluronic Acid that we also make less of that as we get older too. It works possibly with collagen to be like a glue kinda that sort of holds it together. Both of these ingredients also play important roles possibly imo with our joints as well as many of our body organs. Collagen can’t be used by our bodies unless enzymes provided by Vitamin C, which is in this, fold the collagen proteins into usable forms. Vitamin E also comes into play with the way it works with cellular messaging in many parts of our bodies. Too much vitamin E may be bad for our health so I am happy to see that only 2.5 mgs was put in each cap. And I really like this is 1 cap serving size. The ingredient Ergothioneine is one that I am really excited about and look for. It’s kinda of a new player with supplements imo and really we don’t know much about it imo. We do know it’s an amino acid that comes mostly from some certain mushrooms and a little is also found in red and black beans. It has been observed in some studies to get preferential treatment with the ways the cells treat it with transport to the mitochondria as what appears to possibly be for a defense mechanism role it may do. To me personally anything that body prioritizes stands chance to be beneficial possibly and hopefully with this ingredient in ways that may be possibly meaningful. I take mushroom supplements in hopes of obtaining this ingredient in them and try to find brands that utilize mushroom types that are said to have this ingredient in it. Some studies have indicated that Ergothioneine may possibly be an antioxidant that may benefit skin with the way it acts by possibly inhibiting oxidative damage. I see where this brand is lab tested but I’m not sure if that’s the same as third party ‘Lab’ testing. I do see they have a COA and utilized non GMO ingredients which I very much like. I also see where this is from a small business which I love to support. These were easy to take and I had no sides. Good Luck and I Hope this was Helpful.

This supplement has a very unique lid that’s a flip top. I greatly prefer it over the standard lid and wish more brands would do this. Otherwise, the capsules are standard sized and easy to swallow.

Essential Health Essential Youth ERGO+ contains 5mg of the amino acid L-Ergothioneine along with Collagen Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E in every serving and comes in a bottle with 60 capsules. The serving size it 1x capsule a day so that gives you 60 days worth in the bottle. This particular amino acid seems to be very popular with the longevity community and has a veritable laundry list of claimed benefits. Some of those may be why you are here checking it out. It says here in the listing that this is “manufactured to high standards in the USA, and accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis.’ It actually doesn’t state anywhere on the label or packaging where this is made which seems in contrast to the statement here. It does note that it is ‘Carefully Crafted For: Comiracle LLC.’ Additionally, the product I received was not accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis and I don’t see one posted here in the listing. There is no website noted on the product, so I can’t go there to check for that or any other additional details.

I have read about the benefits of L-Ergothioneine and so I was curious to try this supplement. I cannot say that I have experienced anything tangible either positive or negative. That may just mean that this particular supplement is not for me. However, I have not been consistent it taking it every day due to unrelated health matters, but I continue to experiment with it as my health situation allows. I do like the formula with the other ingredients and believe that it is an effective supplement.

I’ve been using the “ESSENTIAL HEALTH L-Ergothioneine ” supplement for a few weeks, and I’m already seeing results. The pink capsules are pretty and easy to take, and my skin feels more hydrated. A coworker even mentioned that my skin looks brighter, which totally surprised me!
The added vitamins C and E are a nice touch, too, supporting my overall wellness. On top of that, my joints feel less stiff. Overall, I’m happy with this supplement and excited to see what more it can do!

I’ve been using this supplement for just over a month. Over that time, my skin has felt more consistently hydrated and while I also taken powdered collagen, the more collagen the merrier in your 40s. I’ve had no unwanted side-effects.

This bottle is ergonomically friendly and I like the design all together. I know that we as women start to lose collagen as we get older. Also not being able to eat all the important things this will come in handy. I haven’t been able to take them consistently due to me being on antibiotics so I didn’t want anything to go haywire on me. It’s not hard to swollen and it doesn’t get stuck like some pills do. I look forward to see the benefits once I am constantly taking them.
