I have been taking turmeric supplement on the advice of my doctor for over a decade. There is a lot to like about this particular turmeric supplement. It is made from a turmeric extract that is standardized to have 95% curcuminoids, the active ingredient in turmeric. The supplement includes piperine, which increases curcumin’s bioavailability by up to 2000%. This product is free of common allergens, is manufactured in the USA, and has been third party tested. I do not have a problem swallowing these, as they are the same size as my fish oil supplement (about 25 mm in length).

I’ve been very happy with this supplement. The BioPerine Black Pepper is a delightful addition, contributing to enhanced absorption. It contains 95% Curcuminoids, making it powerful, and I appreciate that it’s non-GMO. What’s more, it’s been great for joint support, assisting me in my daily activities. Highly recommended!

OK, so when I ordered these I somehow overlooked that these were softgels. I have never seen turmeric in softgel pill form before, so I was quite surprised to see this opaque, orange, plastic-y (maybe shiny/waxy?), oversized pill when I opened the bottle. They are much larger than my powder-form turmeric pills. They are over 1″ long and about 1/3″ wide. I included 3 photos showing the full bottle and a pill on my measuring mat for size reference. I didn’t want to risk swallowing this alongside my other pills just in case the casing felt sticky in my throat (like other softgels do), so I took it separately (with some water) and it seemed fine – no stick. It passes the swallow test for me, but I definitely don’t recommend these for anyone who has trouble or hesitation in swallowing pills. As I do have a slow absorption rate for most medications and supplements, I thought perhaps the liquid softgel form could be beneficial for me to hasten absorption. Only time will tell if they give me the same/better benefits as my existing turmeric pills and I’m not confident the increased price difference is worth those potential benefits. The size of these alone are going to be challenging to store; if I were to order them in bulk, the 30-count bottle is as large as my other 90-count bottles… and I like to order them in quantities of 270-360. I am pleased to see the ingredients are all things I can identify without any unnecessary additives; I love a good natural option when it comes to supplements. I am giving them 4 stars because the quality is there, but I’m not sure the price difference would be worth it for me.

I have been taking turmeric supplements for a few years and these have no caused any side effects or change in results. They are easy to swallow with no odd taste. Recommend.

I have a couple of supplement capsules I’ve tried that have a dozen different ingredients in small quantities, and I’m never sure if I’m getting enough to make a difference.
Obviously, supplements will impact different people in different degrees and time frames, so I can’t speak to the long term efficacy of this or any supplement, for the most part.
But as far as focusing on the two ingredients, these are a good density of the components in an easy-to-swallow capsule. The bottle I got is $12 for a month’s supply, or about 40 cents a day (one capsule per day). You can get 3 or 6 month supplies in larger bottles down to 20 cents a day if you’re confident that these supplements will help you.
I’ll probably reorder when I go through this bottle. So far no major impacts, but no side effects, and no complaints.

These are really a great value. I feel like I have been taking them forever and I’ve still got half a bottle left, and that’s with doubling the recommended daily serving. I take one in the morning and one at night and I can feel the difference. Plus the gel capsule means they stay fresh and potent for longer, they travel well, and they don’t taste like anything.
I would buy these again! Definitely recommend.

I don’t know if it is possible to determine the efficacy of a dietary supplement at home. My husband has been taking a Curcumin Tumeric pill with BioPerine for several years. I do always check to be sure the one I purchase for him is either USP or GMP certified and this one is GMP certified which gives me confidence that it contains quality ingredients in the quantities shown on the label.

I’ve been taking NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric for a few weeks now. While I can’t say I’ve noticed a huge difference, I do feel like it’s doing something good for my body. I mean, turmeric’s reputation for fighting inflammation is pretty well-known, right? Plus, the added piperine is a nice touch – it’s like a little booster shot for the curcumin.
I really like that these softgels are easy to swallow and that they’re free of all those nasty additives. It’s a relief to know I’m taking something that’s both effective and clean.
While I haven’t had a dramatic change after taking these, I’m optimistic about the long-term benefits. I plan to keep taking them and see how I feel over time.
