I originally started with ashwagandha and don’t take this supplement as frequently as ashwagandha but I do like it. This product promotes focus and it’s hard to tell the difference sometimes but I don’t take a lot of it either. So the container has lasted me a long time.

In the last 6 months of 2020, and into 2021, I went through the darkest time of my life.
With significant brain fog from mychotoxin poisoning and other physical problems, I added this Lions Mane to my daily nutrition. I can’t say it was solely due to this product that my mental clarity has sharpened, though I can say.. MY MENTAL CLARITY HAS SHARPENED (and it has been since adding this to my daily nutrition)!! I have now become a major fan of Tribe Organics. I emailed them to find out more about this Lion’s Mane and was thoroughly impressed by the research they had done. Im a bit of a nerd when it comes to Mushrooms and am a Paul Stammets fan. They were able to stick with me in conversation, nerding out on the power of mycelium, fruiting bodies and the various discrepencies that exist in evidence around the best mushroom product to offer. The more I take their supplements, the better I feel (have the Ashwagandha, Turmeric and Boswelia now). The more I learn about what they are doing in regards to product quality, supporting local communities and what they believe in, the more I want to stay connected with their product line. I recommend this Lion’s Mane 100%!!

Not all Lions Mane supplements are created equal, and this one from Tribe Organics is one of the better sourced Lions Mane supplements out there. Mycelium on grain sounds OK, but when it comes to mushrooms for supplementation you only want 100% pure mushroom fruiting bodies (which this one is). Also, it’s important to make sure the supplement lists how much Beta-Glucans (this one is >25%). The extraction matters and this one is a 1:1 water extraction. Which is a good place to start with Lions Mane to see how you react to it. The Tribe Organics Lions Mane comes from Nammex which is a very high quality source. It’s a bit of a head scratcher though why they added bioperine to the mix (black pepper extract) for absorption, it’s really not needed. The other misstep is the dosage recommendation. The dosage recommendation has you taking 1800 mg or 3 pills per day. This is much much much more than most will need, and way too high to start with. Starting dose is generally 500mg , and these capsules are 600mg each. Having said all that, this is a quality supplement, in a space with a lot of really sub par mushrooms out there, you just don’t need to take 3 pills a day of it.

I’ve used Tribe ashwagandha so I wanted to try their lions mane since I noticed results with their other product. The lions mane provides a subtle difference that did take some time to notice (2-3 weeks) but I did feel like it was working. This especially became apparent after I stopped taking it after I used the tub and didn’t order more. It really must’ve helped with my digestion because after I stopped taking it, I would get heartburn more often. I just ordered more and will continue to use this product as I got good results from taking it
