I’ve been taking this for about 3 weeks now. My skin feels smoother. It’s too soon to see how it effects my hair, but I’m happy with the skin results. The softgel caps are easy to take, but I do get a whiff of the contents…it IS cod liver oil, afterall! It isn’t overpowering or nasty, it’s just enough to know what you’re taking. If my skin continues to improve, I’ll be getting more.

I enjoy cod liver and cod liver oil for its many health benefits. I was curious to try to this product to replace the fish oil supplements I was taking.
These softgels are very easy to swallow. The serving size is 1 softgel and there is no fishy aftertaste (or fishy burps). There is a whopping 250 softgels in the bottle, which will last me a very long time. Vitamin A and Vitamin D are also included in the ingredients for easier absorption.
These softgels do contain bovine gelatin – something to keep in mind if this is not something you consume.
Overall, I highly recommend this. Amazing cod liver health benefits (with EPA/DHA) and 250 soft gels (that’s over 8 months of servings) – it doesn’t get any better.

Norwegian water is kept cleaner than many other bodies of water. They clean out plastics and other junk; seem to be better about what gets dumped in their sea as well. They recognize their water areas are key to their economy as well as health.
So Norwegian cod should carry fewer contaminants than cod from many other areas where such care is not taken.
Cod liver in itself is very healthy. Loaded with omega-3s, which most people seem to know about. Also with Vitamins A and D, also essential for health.
Cod liver oil offers many benefits.

This is a reasonably priced, clean product, from a well-established company.

I haven’t taken Cod Liver Oil since I was a kid- and now taking it again, I realize why my mom gave it to us! I’ve been taking Omega supplements for a while now and I don’t really notice much difference unless I take double the amount. With this, I take 3 a day only and the results are quite obvious, after a few weeks only! My hair is absolutely growing much faster. I just touched up my roots maybe a month and a half ago, and they need to be touched up again! A lot of work keeping up, but for faster hair growth, I’ll definitely take it!
The pills are smooth, small and easy to swallow. There is no detectable fish smell or taste- unlike when I was a kid and took it from a spoon- eww! Haha I honestly didn’t expect much because I guess I have brand bias and assumed that Rite Aid wouldn’t have particularly high quality, but I was mistaken. These are fantastic and work amazingly well and fast! 😀 I will absolutely buy these again, no hesitation!
