HB Dude –
After taking this daily, my officially assessment is that if I take this an hour or two before I’m going to the gym, I’ve noticed my workouts are stronger and I lift more weight than I normally do, my cardio is further and longer. Definitely noticeable. But on the days I’m not working out and I just take this and do nothing, then I feel tired. It doesn’t do anything. I’m thinking it could be the Vitamin D as sometimes Vitamin D can make you tired. I might have to try a man HMB product that just has that without anything else in it.
I’ve never heard of this doing anything for weight loss, so not sure why some are expecting that to happen. Can’t take a pill to lose weight and do nothing. You will have to exercise. This stuff has pushed my workouts.
I’ve heard different contradicting things about HMB. Some say it’s only good if you work out to it not really being beneficial for those that are already fit, which I am. That could be why I thought the results weren’t mind blowing. And in fact made me tired, unless I was going to the gym. Then this did have something in it that made me pull more weights. I’ve also heard this is really for those that in older age or weaker. Maybe it pushes you a bit to get going. As mentioned I only noticed a slight difference on days I was working out. It made me tired on other days or no change.

I’m taking this to help with preventing/slowing age related muscle wasting. It does seem to help. Muscle wasting is hugely annoying.

I’m 73 years old go to the gym ( Planet Fitness) three times a week. This product has helped me achieve muscle tone, smooth skin tone without wrinkles. It goes where I work out: arms, shoulders, legs and core. I still drag some waste around my belt line but I’m sure in time this will improve.

As with most supplements, they are taken while trusting in the claims of their performance. HMB as studies supporting its ability to maintain muscle mass. These studies were done in the elderly and now that I’m 50, I’m giving it a try to maintain my activity level. Hard to tell that there has been improvements in my muscle strength but I sure haven’t lost any. Deal supplements has been my go to brand for quality supplements at a good price. Plus, they offer some great deals.
