Bovine colostrum is milk that comes from cows within a few days after giving birth. It contains a lot of antibodies and other ingredients that help the calf fight infections. Based on the label, this Colostrum Powder by Sports Research contains no other ingredients (or filler) but Bovine colostrum . It has no strange taste, so you can add it to any beverage, such as coffee or tea.
The jar contains 75 servings of 2g. The package was well sealed, and there was no powder leak, which occasionally happens in similar products. This supplement is manufactured in the USA. It arrived with a shelf life of two and a half years.

I have used colostrum before, but not from this particular brand. I wasn’t previously familiar with Sports Research” but after looking up their company, I felt pretty good about trying their product. I appreciate that the product is US sourced, though I would like it even better if it was specified as being from grass fed cows. The powder is very mild in scent and flavor and does not smell or taste unpleasant, I usually add it to a smoothie, but I’ve also taken it shaken up with water in my blender bottle, which is also palatable. I do think it is a bit expensive, though a good quality colostrum supplement does tend to be. The one thing that could improve this product is if it was sourced from grass fed cows and labeled as such.

Given that this is a nutritional supplement/powder, it’s a bit difficult to say outright whether it actually provides the benefits touted or works as kind of a placebo effect since most people who would be interested in this kind of product are likely health-conscious anyway. With that said, I think most people willing to give a product like this colostrum powder a try are open-minded to any potential benefits, so I want to focus more on what is qualitatively claimed that can be proven. Is it flavorless, and is it non-clumping as claimed? Yes, I can confirm those. It’s also well-packaged.
So far I’ve been enjoying this product, but given that this is more of a long-term health benefits sort of item, it’s difficult to give a timely review that also allows me to give my personal impressions of the long-term benefits, so I’ll be updating this review when I’m closer to the end of the 75 servings with updated impressions.

This is a simple-to-take daily colostrum powder. You only need one small scoop, and it blends easily with water and other liquids. I like to add it to my daily protein shake. There is very little discernable flavor. I haven’t experienced any negative effects from taking this supplement. I definitely recommend this product!

I really like this Sports Research Colostrum Powder. It mixes easily into liquids with my milk frother. Whether I’m adding it to my protein shake or just stirring it into water, it blends without clumping. I love that it’s unflavored which makes it incredibly convenient to put into different drinks. The quality of the ingredients and the fact that it is non-GMO, gluten-free, and responsibly sourced makes me happy. Also the brand’s reputation makes me trust the formulation. After using it for a month, I’ve noticed some improvement in my digestion and overall energy levels. It is always hard to tell what causes these things, but it correlates well with taking this product. I’ve been using this Sports Research Colostrum Powder for a few weeks now, and I’m really pleased with it. I mix it into my coconut water every day, and it dissolves easily without any clumping or aftertaste. I appreciate that it’s unflavored, so it doesn’t alter the taste of my coconut water at all.
Like all supplements it’s hard to tell if it’s actually working or doing anything, my digestion seems to be bit better than before.
I like that it’s non-GMO, gluten-free, and responsibly sourced. The brand has a good reputation, which gives me confidence in the quality of the product. Overall, I think this is a great colostrum powder, and I would definitely recommend it.

I’ve been very pleased with this colostrum. It adds no noticeable flavor to my latte. I do try to sprinkle over the top rather than dump, but it’s mixed really well for me. It’s hard for me to say definitively that it is helping me as I’ve been taking colostrum for awhile, but I haven’t noticed any negative changes.
