The powder by itself seems like it will taste pretty good, but as soon as you dilute it in water, it tastes like a tea bag on the 2nd or 3rd use. Like, just enough of the flavor is there to remind you how bland it is. I haven’t noticed any impact on my health, one way or the other.
UPDATE: Sprout Living reached out to me and explained that standalone flavor (i.e., mixed directly with water) is not a goal of the product. Rather, they aimed for a mildly sweet flavor with nothing artificial to detract from the health benefits. I don’t totally agree with the approach, but I can respect it, so I have added a 4th star to my rating.
Upon opening the jar initially, there was powder all around the lip of the cap. I figured the inner seal (there’s no outer seal) was poorly applied, but that didn’t seem to be the case. It would appear to be manufacturing slop from the filling process.

Tastes so good, sweetened without sugar so you can make sweet drinks with it. Mixes well. I like the ingredients although I don’t know how much of each ingredient is in the proprietary blend. In that sense the quality could be higher, because it’s likely there are only small amounts of the nutrients this product purports to have. Still, this drink mix is an easy way to have flavor with some nutritious value.

I gave this 3* because while it has good ingredients, it is also costs a significant amount per serving. One of the important ingredients, Boitin, is very cheap to buy in tablet form. And you can take collagen tablets for less too. It also didn’t taste that great and it was difficult to mix by hand with liquid.
So you might ask why I didn’t give it less than 3 *. I gave it 3* because the ingredients are good, and they as reported to help the body produce its own collagen. Producing collagen is something that is reduced as the body ages, so hopefully , this can help your body produce collagen at “ youthful” rates, and help,with thinning skin.
I will continue to take collagen capsule as well although It’s not clear that consuming collagen actually results in any changes of the amount that you have. Maybe this supplement will help the body use the collagen supplement as well as encourage the body to product more.

– It’s hard to tell if it is actually working or not. I like to believe all these supplements I’m taking are helping me though LOL!
– I use hot water and a frother to mix and it does a good job
– I always add drink flavoring mix to my collagen powder because I want more flavor. It’s a little bland without adding more flavoring to it.
