I had a hard time finding this locally at my herb shop. Great addition to your daily regiment for cognitive functions. It also helps to add calmness to your day (after about 3 weeks of taking it daily).

I liked the size of the tablets. I wasn’t sure about which dose to start with, but I figure lowest dose and work up if needed, as some brands are much higher. I also have used this Saffron extract brand’s other product for quick calming relief and liked it, so I have this brand another try with saffron.
The first time I took it seemed to work which was a surprise bc I know things like this tend to need to be taken daily for a few weeks to become ultimately effective. But it snapped me out of some anxiety and bad feelings when feeling like I was crashing mood-wise.
Now I understand more about how it works, and I’ll say this is a good start tablet. I took twice a day as the bottle says, and some days, I did not, I admit.
Not all days were like the first where I felt something soon after taking, and I wouldn’t care even if it were a placebo effect the first time, but I think it was more than that. Placebo is a real chemical boost of the brain that can be blocked by naloxone (narcan), so it’s a real positive effect the brain does produce that is used to compete against medications in clinical testing, as placebo alone has benefits without the extra chemicals put in the body.
Anyway, I was happy with it, but I also expected more. I was about to run out and was experiencing some mood issues due to hormonal crashes, so I tried a different brand after this one that is much stronger and should be even better for taking to improve PMS mood swings and issues. I’ll review that brand next.
But for normal everyday issues, I’d say this is a good start to see if I was sensitive to it. I took on an empty stomach or with another supplement at times. It seems good with adaptogens.
I’m glad I gave it a try!
