I have been taking GI ProZymes for about 5 years now. My situation is complex, but suffice to say I have numerous autoimmune issues and a major one is connected to digestive difficulties. Medical doctors really don’t address it, there’s no disability to be gotten, and yet it has disabled me for many years. Only in completely changing my diet (to SCD – Special Carbohydrate Diet) and taking digestive enzymes that are allowable as well as just acidopholus, has everything become manageable. I take six of the prozymes a day (2 or 3 with each meal) and I know they have helped me greatly.

If you were tricked into thinking you need to buy this product by that scdlifestyles.com website, please do not waste your money. It is unnecessary to take digestive enzymes to cure a candida overgrowth. In fact, taking digestive enzymes is dangerous because it will cause your body to stop making them naturally. You do not need digestive enzymes, and for that matter, you do not have low stomach acid either. These websites are just there to scare you into buying overpriced products like this one, or Betaine HCL with Pepsin etc. If you have a candida overgrowth all you need to do is cut refined sugar and processed food and low quality grains (organic in small quantities is ok) out of your diet, make bone broth and eat it before every meal to soothe and heal your inflamed intestinal lining, and start eating LOTS of fermented foods like yogurt, fermented cucumbers, fermented cabbage, kefir etc. And by LOTS I mean 3 to 5 LARGE servings per day – as in 3 times more than you would normally eat if your digestive system was healthy. Also note that it can take a long time (many months to many years depending on how bad your overgrowth is) to finally cure yourself. But for god sakes don’t give these scam artists your money. Save your money to buy organic yogurt and organic chicken with the bones so you can make broth. These pills will make you sick in the short term, and ruin your natural digestive process in the long term. These may be our actual products be we do not know how they get them or how many times they are shipped before getting to the consumer.” Compare the back labels for yourself, they are identical in a way that none of the other enzyme products on amazon are… I’m not sure what kind of scam is going on here, but Mr. Jose Ferro aka Joe Ferro aka GI ProHealth aka 22 Laura Ln. Fairhaven, MA most likely cannot be trusted.
