My son has been intolerant to certain carbohydrates since he was a child he’s now 11. He cannot eat wheat, rice, beans, white potatoes. If he eats these products he will get snotty and congested in his throat and start coughing. He can cough all night long if I don’t do anything about it. It basically means his body is not digesting the carbohydrates like it needs to and the immune system is kicking in. So I give him 2 to 3 amylase enzymes as soon as possible and then within about 10 or 15 minutes he will stop coughing, the enzymes digest the carbohydrates for him and he’s fine. It’s a lifesaver!

If you don’t know who Lou Corona is, I suggest you go look him up right now. He’s amazingly youthful for his age thanks to his strategic diet and supplementation. When I saw he had this digestive enzyme available, I had to try it.
Amylase in particular is helpful for digesting carbohydrates. What makes this particular blend extra special is the inclusion of quinoa sprouts, fennel seed, rose hips, orange, broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot. I appreciate the added whole food nutrition. I also greatly appreciate that there are ZERO toxic excipients (like magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, etc) in this supplement.
Other than that, it works! I keep these in my purse for when we are out at restaurants and pop 4 of them anytime I have a high carb meal. It keeps the bloating down and I believe it helps with my postprandial blood sugar response as well based on how I feel.
