Calcium citrate is absorbed much better by the body than calcium carbonate, which is what most of the calcium pills are made from, but it’s hard to find calcium citrate. I was delighted to discover this BlueBonnet product. It tastes GREAT and is so much easier than the pills. I have recommended it to several friends. It comes in another flavor, too. Both are really good. One TBSP a day. Keep it in the fridge. I actually look forward to it in the morning instead of dreading giant pills.

I was looking for Calcium Citrate without a whole lot of additives made in the USA. It seems to me that this is somewhat hard to find. I used to buy this from GNC through Amazon but they changed their formulation and added a whole bunch of “stuff” to their ingredient list. Found BlueBonnet. This was clearly described, made in the USA and arrived exactly as promised. I have not had any adverse effects from taking it after about a week….will continue to take and perhaps this will be my “go to” calcium supplement for future use. Cannot complain at all. Thank you BlueBonnet for offering what looks like a great product. Hope that they do not change their ingredients in the future as I plan on coming back and ordering more when needed.

Quite a number of the pills were broken when I received them. I didn’t realize that the dosage was for a day which is bothersome since the pills are large and uncoated.

Monstrously large capsules. I’m afraid to swallow them — I can just picture them getting stuck in my throat and that will be the end of it – and I’m not able to return them. Why are calcium supplements always so huge??
