When my daughter was in Mali on a mission trip she had a horrible time of her bowels being bound up. Different foods, dehydration, lack of exercise, whichever reason, she was miserable. They gave her lots of papaya to help that situation. When I got this 2-pack of digestive enzymes, what do I see is one of the primary ingredients? Papaya. Along with acidophilus and other enzymes, turmeric, apple pectin, fennel, ginger, and peppermint, all known for their digestive aid.
An easy way to take them when necessary, rather than eating tons of papaya.
Serving size is 1 capsule before each meal, but it doesn’t say to take them daily regardless of how you’re feeling, or as needed since the front of the bottle states, “helps with occasional gas and bloating”. There are 60 capsules in each bottle, so 120 capsules total in this 2-pack. If they were taken 3/day, that is a 40 day supply at $1+ day.

These pills are very beneficial if you feel you have hard time digesting something after dinner. I use them to help me digest my meals better, especially when I eat seitan products (which is a little difficult for my stomach to digest occasionally). If you do have serious medical problem with your digestive system, please consult your physician. This supplement is merely used to support your diet, not as means to cure.

I previously had a great set of probiotics that really worked well and hoped these would be as good. Unfortunately they don’t do very well with my system. Taking one did absolutely nothing. I did notice some improvement when I took two, but nothing that would make me want to purchase the product. This doesn’t mean the product itself is as, it just may not work for me.

DH and I have been using these Digestive Enzyme pills for the past week, and I like them. They don’t seem to have any noticeable flavor (even when taken with plain tap water) and do not cause stomach upset. Plus, they work! I have noticed less bloating and less gas when I have one with dinner. Highly recommend!

I have taken digestive enzymes for over thirty years to help with leaky gut syndrome and food allergies. They became even more important after having my gallbladder removed. I know numerous people who have had continuous digestive issues after losing their gallbladder, but I have never had a single episode.
In addition to the standard array of digestive enzymes, this Farm Haven product also contains several probiotic strains, and a few other digestive aids like papaya, turmeric, peppermint leaf, ginger root, apple pectin, and fennel seed. There are no unnecessary additives or common allergens.
This appears to be a very high quality product, but it is also somewhat expensive compared to some other quality digestive enzymes blends on the market. You get two bottles of 60 capsules each, but they would have all fit in one of the bottles. Seems like a waste of plastic to me.

I’m am an avid believer and user of supplements, but reviewing them is problematic, and my results may not be your results for these reasons:
1) I am not a laboratory scientist, I do not play one on tv, nor do I know one, so who knows what’s exactly contained in them.
2) It is difficult for consumers to see any actual difference in how you feel within a few days to a couple of weeks. Some supplements take as much as ninety days to see results.
3) Even if we do notice a difference, we all take other meds or supplements that may affect our results one way or the other.
4) We all have different physiologies, and are just different in so many ways (lifestyles etc). But we can hope for the best when we see others having positive actions going on, that are attributed to said supplements.
So my personal non doctor opinion of my own results:
