Every morning I take one with a huge glass of water first thing. Then wait 30mns before I put anything else in my stomach.
This has completely stopped all my stomach issues. Before discovering this my stomach was always hurting. There were many foods I had to stay away from because they hurt my stomach.
Now there are no foods I cannot eat and my stomach never hurts.

These digestive enzymes work! So many foods, especially when my husband and I would go out for date night, would leave my stomach feeling terrible! Super bloated, gassy, uncomfortable….not great for date night. But I started taking 2 of these before I eat a meal that would normally hurt my stomach and it completely prevents the uncomfortable side effects! So happy.

As enzymes go, this is a pretty good mix and I found them to be quite helpful when taken about 20-30 minutes before a meal. I liked that they include fennel and which I find is helpful with digestion. It’s a very appealing blend of ingredients which is better than some others, though I’m not sure that it actually has a greater impact on digestive-related discomfort for having included fennel and cardamom.
While I found this quite effective, it is generally lower value than other enzymes which offer you more doses or the same number for a lower price. This has quality ingredients that I like, but I could get the added elements (fennel and cardamom) from my spice cabinet more cheaply (though it would be more troublesome). The capsules are easy to swallow and have an appealing spicy smell when you sniff them in the bottle. I didn’t really taste anything when taking them nor did I experience any gastrointestinal problems after taking them (nor any changes in bathroom habits). I was pleased with these in multiple respects.

For years, I’ve struggled with Digest Basic from Enzymedica…could take it for a while and then started having worse problems than the ones I was trying to eliminate. Stronger versions from that company were totally out of the question…as were different blends.
I definitely needed to consider something different and decided to take a chance on Active Enzymes. Wow. I’d forgotten what it felt like to not feel bad after eating. This one’s a real keeper.
Note that this is coming from someone who didn’t receive a free bottle.
UPDATE: It’s a year later and I still love this stuff!!!

These enzymes gave me such bad ‘indigestion’ that I ended up in an urgent care clinic (I very rarely even have indigestion!)
Any type of supplement that I have ever bought has has some type of money back guarantee-this company does NOT, which is extremely disappointing. If you stand by your product, you should have some type of guarantee for those that it effects negatively.
I will not be buying any type product from this company again. BE WARY OF ANY COMPANY THAT DOES NOT HAVE ANY TYPE OF GUARANTEE/CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!

With so many enzymes on the market it’s hard to pick. It can feel overwhelming. I try to look for the cleanest supplements that I can afford. I received these today so hopefully they will work well. they seem to check off the boxes of things needed to combat certain liver, pancreas and gut health issues. I had colon cancer and also my gallbladder removed and things just have not been the same. My body seems to not be absorbing nutrients like it should. So I look forward to this working. The packaging is very nice. Pills are small and slinder, it says take 1 to 2 daily. I will check back with you later with issues/ pros about the product

After being diagnosed with IBS-D I tried several diets and supplements. I finally found one that worked for me in this product. While easy to swallow it does have a weird taste but only for a minute.
