I got this because I take these three ingredients to maintain my joint health. That ole saying with ‘you don’t don’t know what you got until you loose it’ comes into my mind when thinking about joints and connective cartilage. Some years ago I had extensive pain for a while in my joints and it took a great deal of time and effort and supplements (these three included) to overcome that. In my effort to try to maintain and preserve that which I achieved ( relief of pain with my joints), I take these three ingredients daily. The reason is very very simple. If you look up what is Glucosamine, Chondroitin, or MSM, the answer on all three is, ” a key component of cartilage and joints”. With that said you have to have the necessary ingredients ( and these are by definition key components) in order to fix a problem if one exist or should arise. And this brand has all three of the important ones IMO and they are at meaningful dosages meaning amounts that may actually help. If you look at the dosages,, for all three they are very close as in order they are 1500, 1200, and 1200 mgs each . That’s just the way I like it. Reason being it makes no sense if your joint is trying to repair itself but there’s not enough glucosamine or chondroitin because you were taking a dosage of 2000, 500, 100 mgs. And because this brand only limited it to these three ingredients they did not have to sacrifice any dosage. So very simply said the way this brand did it is the way I like it and it makes total sense to me and not hard at all to understand why IMO.
Now I will mention if you are currently suffering with joint pain and using this as a way to help then do know this is an extremely slow process. At least 6 months to notice anything without doubt IMO. This is working on a molecularly level and it takes time. Hopefully though with each day you will be replacing and repairing rather than the opposite. I would personally add 12 grams type 2 poultry/chicken collagen ( that is a lot huh ? and the reason most use it in powder form), and oral hyaluronic acid. And BTW the collagen and the MSM is fabulous for your skin which is why I take about 2 grams more of MSM and a type 1 collagen rather than type 2 (since I am not currently attempting/needing ‘repair’ ).
If you will look closely when you look up what does Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM do,,, you will see the big word IMO which is why I use this and that being ‘Prevent’. I realize you may be considering this for ‘Repair’ and as mentioned been there and done that. For either I do recommend this product. For me personally with ‘Prevent’ I am going to take one of these tablets rather than three. One tablet will give me 500 mgs Glucosamine, 400 mgs Chondroitin and 400 mgs MSM. If I were doing repair I would take the serving size of 3 tablets. Normally I do not give any supplement 5 stars unless it’s third party lab tested and tested in the US/UK or Canada. However with these three ingredients I have never seen any company test them as they are pretty basic so I will not hold this against this company. These tablets are on the big side but no problems for me personally. However if you have issues with big tablets and caps this could be a challenge. I had no sides with these tablets and just trust they are doing their deal. The Best of Luck and hope this was helpful.

I began giving this product to my 3 dogs recently. They’ve been using another brand similar to this one, that is a bit more expensive. But, since I was able to order it, I thought I’d try this brand, to see if it helps them as well. So far, so good. Pets should take it for a month, before deciding if it’s working well enough. My 3 year old mix breed dog only takes it as preventative and support, since he has no issues currently. My 2 chihuahuas are seniors, and have arthritis and luxating patella (knee dislocates). So, this is used for support, along with other meds and supplements. How well this helps, depends on the severity of the pet’s issues/pain. If I had to rate this product on my seniors, it would get 3 stars, if it was used alone. But, they must take other stuff, too. I rated it 4 stars for my Chihuahuas, since it’s being given along with other stuff, and does play a role. If they had minor issues/pain, this product should help them more. All pets should be started on a product like this, by the time they’re 2 years old, in order to maintain their joints, and especially cartilage. Remember, their lifespan is so very short, compared to ours. So, 2 years old, is when they need to start maintaining what they have (unless they’re having issues early on in life). This stuff is very important for them. If you have a dog who is supposed to be big in size, you may want to start around age 1 year. I was asked to rate this product for pain relief, and for how easy it is to swallow. I didn’t rate pain relief, since pain relief depends on each pet’s issues, and my 2 chihuahuas wouldn’t get near enough pain relief, from this alone. I did not rate how easy it is to swallow, since I haven’t taken it. My pets seem ok with swallowing their doses. But, their doses are not whole tablets. Pet doses are not the same as human doses. Unless you’re familiar with products and their ingredients, and know proper doses to give your pets, I suggest consulting your vet. Always do your own research, too. Supplements made for humans, can sometimes have ingredients that are toxic to pets. The ingredients in this particular product are not bad. So, dogs, and cats, can benefit from using it. Mine do. (Fyi-Cat doses are different from dog doses and human doses.) 😊

To start, glucosamine is not a product that works in a single dose or serving. Glucosamine has to be taken consistently and also over a long period of time in order to feel the full benefit. I have been taken this for a little over a week and have yet to feel the effects or benefits. I sometimes have a feeling it is already working somewhat and feel a little better with my joints and bones but don’t want to give any misleading info. Do I believe this is a great product? Yes, definitely, I do feel confident it will show good results. It has 3 different supplements Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM, which makes it better than others that only have 1 supplement.
One of the downsides is that you have to take 3 big tablets per day that can become difficult for some. Also, you have to make sure you eat a good meal for this as it can be heavy as well for the stomach. I also felt it lost some stars because there is only a 30 day supply in this due to taking so many tablets per day. I would still recommend the product but I do think that one has to check their options and make sure this is the right choice for their health needs.
