These are so big that they are hard to swallow. My husband can swallow them barely; I cannot swallow them. I may put them in water and dissolve them that.

L-Proline is an amino acid that can help build/repair collagen. So it’s good for skin, among other things you can Google.
Coupled with Vitamin C and L-Lysine (another amino acid), L-Proline is part of the “Pauling Protocol” (as in Linus Pauling) for improving cardiovascular health. Anyone interested in knowing more about the Pauling Protocol will find some very valuable information online, just by Googling “Pauling Therapy.”
I have friends who swear by l-proline for improving joint health.
NOW brands offers good quality supplements at an affordable price & this one’s no exception; I’m glad to find an amino acid in a gelatin capsule, rather than in compressed tablets. I’ve been using this for about 6 weeks and have had no adverse reactions. Just keep in mind that if you’re using this for skin or joint health, it will most likely take a few months to notice significant improvement. Supplements are a long-range solution, not a short-term one, so be patient. I like this l-proline & will continue to order via Subscribe & Save. Recommended!
