I do take another digestive enzymes, Enzyme Spectrum Complete, one capsule with every meal. However, in some of my meals, which include a portion of avocado, my vitamins A & D, and olive oil stir-fried veggies, I found myself taking 2 and sometimes 3 of the digestive enzymes. So, I bought this Lypazyme, I take 1 about 30 minutes before one of those meals, and my digestive enzymes, and problem solved.

It helps me digest fat. I’m pleased that it reduces gas from undigested fat. When you can’t digest fat you can’t absorb minerals.

I had my gallbladder removed about a year ago and had been really struggling with bloating, diarrhea, and high digestive discomfort. My bowel movements were highly irregular and I was at the point where I was going to seek medical attention— it was actually getting a bit scary.
I had tried several other remedies— peppermint oil, papaya enzymes, to name a few. Nothing worked. I remembered my surgeon had said something about digestive enzymes for fat and gave these a try as sort of a last-ditch attempt.
I took the first one and eagerly awaited. While results weren’t immediate, by the end of the first weekend (first pill taken on a Friday) I was amazed. The bloating, the diarrhea, the pain… all gone.
Unfortunately (and expectedly), my issues come roaring back should I miss more than two doses (you’re supposed to take one with each meal). In any case, I could be much better with my diet (my surgeon originally told me to take the enzymes when you are ‘cheating’/eating a super fatty meal), but these make this 32-year old man feel like a 20-year old again!
