Buyers beware this product contains crab, lobster and shrimp. No where on the Amazon listing did I see this. This should have been listed. I am allergic to lobster. It lists what is does not contain, however.
My research has resulted in me looking for Glucosamine 1500 mg and Chondroitin 1200 mg as the appropriate daily dosage. That is what this product contains. The serving size is 3 capsules making this bottle a 40 day supply at $48.83 ($1.22/day). That seems quite pricey to me. There is minimal smell to the capsules. It is made in Texas. I ordered this product on 7/30/22 and the expiration date is 9/24.

This product works adequately as well as most glucosamine products I’ve tried. Glucosamine works but doctors really don’t fully understand why. But for some people it works better than prescription NSAIDs.
I don’t understand the description of this being free of various ingredients including fish when right above it, it states crustacean, shellfish allergen. I commend the company to warn about it being potentially a shellfish allergen. But, I think it’s disingenuous to say free of fish. What do they think shellfish and crustaceans are?
The other problem I have with this is you get a whopping 120 capsules! Wow, that sounds like a lot until you read you have to take three at a time to get the dosage. Most brands I’ve seen can do it in two. Why three? Well, it looks better on the label that you’re getting more product. But, I suppose if you wanted, you could reduce the dosage down by a third rather than a half by taking less.
I’ve noticed supplements like this come in two forms: solid pill form or an encapsulated powder. I would think that a capsule with powder would dissolve easier but again, it would have a greater surface volume, oxidize or be affected by heat quicker. A solid form might take longer to dissolve but not oxidize as easily. So, I don’t see this being in a capsule form as being superior.
Comparing this to a brand that I obtain locally, I can’t say that this brand is anything special. In fact, my brand appears to be superior for me. This brand is more than twice the cost of what I’m buying now. TWICE. The only difference is this brand comes in a glass bottle. I can’t justify spending more than twice what I’m paying now for basically the same product that doesn’t work any better.

I was a bit skeptical about these BlueBonnet glucosamine with chondroitin capsules; however after taking these for several weeksI have seen some results. Please keep in mind that results are always subjective in my opinion as what works for me might not work for you and what doesn’t work for me doesn’t mean won’t work for you. I was surprised by the results; although not significantly improved, there was some improvement results.
There are several things that I dislike about these capsules, but the main two have to be the amount of capsules you need to take to get a full 1500mg dosage of glucosamine, and the size of capsules. Taking 3 very large capsules seems like overkill to me and would likely make me seek alternative forms of taking similar quantities of glucosamine but I. Different forms like liquids, etc. Something that can also improve is the price as it is steep.
Overall, this is a great option for introducing glucosamine into your diet. If you are looking for a glucosamine supplement, don’t mind taking large pila and several of them, and are okay with the higher price, then this could definitely be the product for you.

Although they are large, I am able to swallow the capsules. Tablets are large and impossible for me to swallow.

Effective in minimizing osteoarthritis pain. I have taken for 10 years and can avoid prescriptions to treat arthritis pain.

Love that their vegetarian. Glucosamine is a must for me as I love to jog and have alot of joint pain. Great supplement. The price is about double of what it should be though. You can find the same thing for 1/2 off.
