These multivitiamins are amazing. I feel much more energized when I take them and I find I am able to get a lot more done without feeling fatigued or like I need to nap. With that being said, they smell. So bad. I have to hold my breath when I take these and even then, I can still smell them. The smell alone will make me gag, so it’s a fight trying to take them, but it’s so worth it. The smell will also linger, so you’ll continue to taste it well after you’ve already taken it. I highly recommend these, just be wary of the smell.

I have done so much research to find the right multivitamin that covers all of the bases I want covered. This brand goes above and beyond. From the various vitamins and supplements to the fact that there are NO fillers makes this probably a top three to choose from. I was skeptical of buying off of Amazon HOWEVER I did so much research and the seller, Pattern, is an authorized seller for Pure Encapsulations products; this definitely helped ease my mind. The capsules themselves are on the larger side so its something to get used to and the smell of them is, in my opinion, horrible. But I have been taking them for 2 weeks and have absolutely noticed the positive effects of the various vitamins. I will be ordering these again and again and again. Will update in a few months.

All the bad reviews say the go bad. Treat yourself with items that are natural. Things that at good for you don’t last. I keep mine in the fridge and there great.

I purchased these vitamins multiple times over the past year because I’ve seen amazing reviews about the quality of ingredients. This past batch I got has developed a weird smell and an ugly appearance with red/brown spots in the vitamin capsule within weeks of purchasing. I am concerned about what I consumed and if this is harmful to my health. DO NOT BUY THIS. I store these vitamins in a cool dark place with desiccant as the bottle suggests so I’m not sure where this contamination came from. They do not expire until February 2026 (writing this review in August 2024) so the level of contamination and degradation is completely unacceptable. I do not recommend these to anyone. I contacted the company and they have not gotten back to me. I am so disappointed.

If you’re an ’80s kid with the “it tastes/smells bad because it’s good for you” mentality, you will rest easy knowing these are really, really, really, really, really, REALLY good for you. For the sake of brevity, I left out some reallies.
Maybe it’s placebo from having that mentality, maybe these are as good as advertised. Either way, same effect. Great vitamins at an OK price with an absolutely terrible odor. I’ve subscribed to these for months so the odor/taste is not a deal breaker for me.
Even if you’re someone who reads this and doesn’t think I’m exaggerating, you will still be taken aback when you get a whiff of these bad boys.

These Vitimans are a game changer! I noticed the differrence almost immediately ! My energy levels are up and I feel more focused throughout the day and I reccomend these for anyone looking for quick positive change in their routine and I was using Douglas Labs Ultra Preventive which I love and will now use both …

Pros:
– Great quality brand
– High purity expected, as the brand is well known as one of the top 2 brands for vitamin supplements (along with Thorne Research)
– Vitamin K as MK7 for bone health and joint pain, great addition to a multivitamin
– Lutein and Zeaxanthin is great to have in a multivitamin, and the dosages are safe for general use
– Boron included
– Bioactive forms of all B-Vitamins
– Higher dosage of Folate (B9) in the Methyl form than all other multivitamins, making this an ideal choice for those with MTHFR issues (may combine with MethylAssist or MethylGuard Plus)
– Multiple forms of B12 included, which is great… as some people may have less bioavaliability for certain forms of B12, thus having multiple forms helps ensure absorption
Cons:
– 60 day regimen only
– Cost is a bit high, as a result, although that is the norm for high quality multivitamins
– Taste can be a bit unsavory compared to the less potent and lower quality brands like Centrum

*Edit: Removed a star because I had to stop using it due to the high biotin level. It was driving my scalp crazy. Almost got through the whole bottle. The high chromium content was making me very hungry a lot more and my blood sugar drop uncomfortably, but the biotin scalp itchiness was the last straw.*
I love that this has *almost* all the forms of things I’ve been looking for and it’s nearly perfect. Not enough to lose any stars, it’s an amazing product. The only things I would adjust are:
1) Lower the chromium level a little bit. It’s a bit excessive.
2) Lower the biotin level a lot. That’s way too much biotin. It’s going straight to my scalp and dandruff.
3) Include MK4 form of Vitamin K².
PRO-TIP ON THE SMELL:
For anyone who has gotten this far, I realize that the supplement stinks/tastes foul. I have found that keeping it refrigerated and only taking the pill out of the container when you’re standing at the fridge and immediately swallowing it with water (or your beverage of choice) helps a bit. Otherwise, it’s just something to get used to.
