This probiotic delivers as advertised, unlike some others I tried before. The reason I gave it 4 stars is mostly the size of the capsule. It is pretty large making it hard to swallow.

I was miserable with chronic gastritis. I stopped ibuprofen, Aleve, coffee, tea, spices foods—everything that’s supposed to aggravate gastritis only to have it worsen day after day. Not even Zegerid was working anymore. Then the bloating and burping became unbearable as well. I was living off of jello and broth which yielded some weight loss but c’mon…a girl’s gotta eat. Started reading everything I could find on causes of chronic gastritis with bloating. One of the possibilities was a lazy gallbladder. Studies had found that adding turmeric increased gallbladder production. Saw some relief but more reading led me to think that my food, especially veggies and meats, was taking too long to digest and my stomach was having to work too hard. Adding some Beano before each meal seemed to help as well so when I saw an add for Peptiva, I decided to give it a try. One pill before dinner along with turmeric and Zen’s No Bloat, and I have my life back. I highly recommend this as a start to solving your digestive issues. I might add that probiotics did not work for me so I had to keep searching. I still have to take a Zegerid daily to help with excess acid production but as I said this is a chronic and familial problem. Good luck fellow gastritis sufferers.

I tried this course of 15 probiotic pills, I saw no noticeable change in my bloating. I lift weights 3 to 4 times a week, I have a flat stomach, I work my abs a lot, I’m on a vegetarian diet during the week, yet I’m always bloated & can’t see the good results of all that gymn work. I was hoping this pill would help. I see better results drinking Kevita kombucha.

I only took one of these pills. I took it before dinner and within two hours I was in complete agony. I had severe nausea and abdominal pain for about 10 hours. I was considering going to the ER and maybe I should have. My abdomen is still sore over 24 hours later. I would not recommend anyone take this medication without speaking to your doctor. Perhaps I was just sensitive to something in this medication but, regardless, it caused me severe pain, nausea and loss of sleep.
