I have been very pleased with this product. My doctor suggested I buy HCL since I evidently am not producing enough during digestion of food so I got this product but was a little wary to use it.
Let’s just say I’m not wearing anymore. In fact, I love it. I keep it handy even when I travel.
Having enough acid in your stomach is vital to digestion, and preventing or at least reducing heartburn a lot!
I am not a doctor, but I would say that anyone who has a lot of heartburn or difficulty with digestion might want to consult with their medical personnel, to see what this could be a solution for them.

I have really bad acid reflux (GERD) and for the longest time, I was getting trapped air (gas bubbles) in my chest which would leave me in terrible panic attacks. Everything I eat gives me acid reflux. I tried everything. Zantac, Prilosec, gas X, galvascon. Anti-acids like Zantac & Prilosec only made the acid reflux worse! The gas-X/galvascon combo helped but only for AFTER the fact that I had horrible acid shooting up my throat & sometimes nose.
My chiropractor/nutritionist recommended this. I take 2 before a normal meal and 3 before a heavily acidic meal. Caffeine also gives me acid reflux, so I take one before I drink my morning chai latte.
It may suck having to take medication EVERY time you eat, BUT not having acid burn your throat is so worth it. One bottle usually lasts me about a month.
I highly HIGHLY recommend this for those who suffer from acid reflux. I hope this particular brand never goes out of stock because it’s the best I’ve ever tried due to its high mg.

Why is everyone taking more than the dosage on the bottle for 1 a day?
I took for 3 days n it does take the bloat and gas away so I do recommend. However $28 is a bit much so if I find a cheaper product that helps I’ll go for it.

This formulation was presented as offering potential relief to acid reflux sufferers. I can attest that this could not be further from the case. I took a very small does (less than recommended) and I thought my whole digestive tract was full of boiling lava. The entire bottle went right in the gargage. Lesson learned.

More people have low stomach acid than high stomach acid. I take this before a meal higher in protein and it seems to keep me from feeling like I ate a car. That is not a typo. Protein is the harderst to digest and this product makes it a breeze.
