Amazon has the best price I’ve found for this product. Anything that helps cartilage and collagen I’m all for. We are getting older. Take care of yourself. Dissolves completely in hot tea and coffee absolutely no taste. I recommend. My nails and hair have improved dramatically

I have ordered this unflavored collagen peptide powder several times now. It has become the “go to” for my wife and I to keep our bodies supplied with collagen. I like it because it completely dissolves, and you don’t even know it’s there. I put 2 Tbsp. in my coffee every morning which is half of the recommended serving, but it lasts longer and is cheaper that way. Also, I think it is enough for my intended use. I have had times where I was out of the habit of taking it, and it sat on the shelf for months, but it has never gone bad and seems to have a good shelf life. For that reason, I get the larger container since it is cheaper per oz. I take our health seriously and do a LOT of reading and study to make sure we are putting the best things in our body. It is important to note that collagen is not a complete protein as it only has 8 out of the 9 “essential” amino acids needed for protein, however it does have 19 total amino acids that offer a host of benefits. Collagen helps nails and hair grow, keeps skin healthy and elastic, improves tendon and joint health. It is what holds our body together. Food sources are typically animal products like bone broth and chicken skin. Your body also produces its own collagen if you’re getting the right nutrients in your diet. This may not be the top choice if your goal is building muscle since it is missing the tryptophan essential amino acid, but it would still be beneficial if you get tryptophan from your diet. With all the health-related products out there, you must pick and choose which things to supplement that make the biggest impact or you will end up spending hundreds every month taking a mountain of pills. In most cases I think it does more harm than good and have come to believe that the closer we stay to “natural” food-based nutrients and quantities the better. That being said, collagen peptides is one of the few items I choose to keep taking. I notice a difference in how soft and supple my skin is after taking it for a while, and my joints feel like a well-oiled machine. To me that means I was not getting what my body required from my diet to function optimally. Most topical creams with collagen are a waste and a scam as your skin cannot absorb collagen through the surface. Your skin completely replaces itself every month or 2 depending on your age, and the best way to help it is providing your body what it needs to generate new healthy skin as it grows outward. “You are what you eat”, not what you lather on top of it. Lotions might temporarily help with treating symptoms and dryness, but improving the quality of your skin is the underlying fix.

At first, I thought I wouldn’t like this because I just mixed in with water and didn’t like the taste. Then I dissolved it in my hot tea and I couldn’t even taste it. Four tablespoons looks like a lot in my cup but it’s perfect. I use the same amount of water and no taste at all. Would recommend for sure. I alternate it now with my chocolate powder collagen. Sometimes if I have more than normal for breakfast, the chocolate is too filling but I always have room for my tea

I have been taking this collagen supplement for approximately four months now and I can honestly say that this is the first time I have seen noticeable results after taking ANY supplement. (Aside from the pain/period cramp relief I get from my Turmeric/Curcumin capsules). I take a variety of supplements and vitamins every day and for the most part I just hope that they are working. I attribute the Vitamin C to never getting sick, but can I really see a difference? Not really.
I mix this powder into my coffee each morning before work. I usually drink 2 cups of coffee a day (in the mornings) and use one scoop per cup. At first, the flavor is a little off-putting. It is subtle but I could definitely taste it. But after a few days I got used to the flavor and now I actually like it.
It took a couple months, but since I stayed consistent, I have noticed my nails are MUCH stronger and healthier. They used to be brittle and soft, and easily break. But yesterday I actually had to file them down because they were growing so fast! They are thicker and stronger than they have EVER been in my life.
I also think my hair is growing faster too. And my hair grows SLOW because it is so curly, it takes a lot longer to see the strands lengthen and go down my back.
I can’t say I notice a huge difference in my skin, but I’m sure that since it affected my hair and nails, it is probably helping with my skin as well.
I would absolutely recommend this supplement to anyone who wants stronger hair and nails. Works way better than biotin supplements ever did.
Since it is easy to mix into coffee, or whatever drink you have on the daily, it is much easier to remember to take every day.
I will continue to purchase this and look forward to the seeing more results.
(I recommend buying the largest bottle now, because it lasts longer and more value for the cost… Plus it took me a few months to see the results and the smaller containers only lasted a few weeks.)

The power works great! It keeps my hair and nails in great shape! The packaging however,is horrible. It is extremely hard to open. Also,the lid doesn’t fit back on the container after it is opened.☹️

I was pleasantly surprised how much protein is in 1 serving! I put it in my morning smoothies, and you cannot taste it at all! I love that it’s also low calorie. I mainly purchased it because of the overall benefits of this supplement but man I’m hooked.

This is the only brand I’ve found that is unflavored, and it doesn’t taste bovine. Dissolves well in hot or cold. I honestly think my skin looks better because of it!
