Similar to the reviewer from November 25, 2024 – I also weighed ONE CAPSULE on an electronic scale. Yes, I confirm that the weight I saw was 530mg!! This sorta makes the 800mg amount of ALA per capsule claim that they print on the back label a bit bogus. It defies the laws of physics…
As for any effects from actually ingesting a single one of these capsules every day, were just not very noticeable to me. There hasn’t been any positive or negative result to tell about, so maybe my diet already provides what I need in this department. I certainly wouldn’t spend this much for zero results! For those who do need this supplement, just be aware that you’re paying for more and getting less.

This is an over the counter supplement. My Dr. ordered 800 mg and the highest doseage I could find at my local drugstores was 200mg which meant I had to take four of the capsules. Fortunetly I found the 800 mg on Amazon. Taking one of these is much more palitable than taking four. Thank you Amazon

I have been researching the effects of Alpha Liopic Acid (ALA) and its benefits regarding cellular health and energy production. I kind of view as a B12 pill but it does have additional ingredients such as B1 and Ubiquinal which are not included in my other supplements so I feel these are beneficial being included in the product. I don’t have any noticeable adverse effects when I take them. As far as energy I do feel some days where I have an increase in energy levels but I’m not sure if that is the ALA or the extra cup of coffee I sometimes consume in the morning! I do feel good about taking this supplement.
