This was a good buy/value pack for our household during Covid. I liked that it came with two bottles because I can give one to my husband so he can take it with him wherever he goes.
Quercetin’s antiviral action is in part through it being a zinc ionophore. Zinc is important for your immune system and is in fact the only supplement that can reduce the length and severity of the common cold. Quercetin acts to enhance zinc’s effect within the body.

Bromelian has additional benefits and can boost the effect of antibiotics. This is easy for us to both take daily with ionic zinc during the pandemic. Quercertin is naturally found in many foods and bromelian is in pineapple so we are not concenred about long term effects. It can only help. We are talking many other immune things but we both feel so much better covering the basics that science has shown to be antiviral and have effects against Covid-19 as well. My husband has many members of his family who are at risk and I feel so much better taking this along with the other precautions we take to stay safe and healthy when we need to go out and do errands.
We haven’t gotten sick or had any ill effects since taking these supplements. Quercetin and bromelian have so many more positive effects past just the Covid protection. We haven’t really noticed anything yet but I’ll be curious if I notice that upon stopping it if it had more of an effect than I realized on inflammation/sinus issues. It’s hard to say just yet.
This is quite a bit of bromelian/quercetin per pill and I think it’s a pretty good value. However, as other reviews said, this seller doesn’t seem to really pride themselves on quallity/certification. They seem to be a very basic vitamin seller and I guess that’s where the good price comes in. This may be a good way to see if bromelian/quercetin works for you but long term I may want to buy from a seller who stresses good sources and 3rd party testing. I made a mistake and jumped for the value pack but normally try to stay away from gelatin caps as I have seen that it correlates to lower quality vitamin sellers. You can tell that it is most likely quercetin though due to the yellow color and I’m reasonably confident of the quality of this seller from other reviews, but I wish the seller would at least raise their standards a bit. That being said if this helps protect against covid at all it’s probably worth it for the average person.
