I’ve recently started taking Liposomal Glutathione by ProHealth, and I can already see why it’s referred to as the “master antioxidant.” Glutathione is naturally produced in our bodies, but levels tend to decrease with age, which can contribute to the signs of aging and slower recovery from oxidative stress. What drew me to this particular product is its liposomal delivery system, which helps boost the absorption of glutathione. In most supplements, glutathione gets broken down before it can be absorbed, but liposomes protect it during digestion, delivering it straight to the cells where it’s needed.
The 500mg per serving is a solid dose, which is great because glutathione is vital for supporting cellular health, detoxification, and overall longevity. It’s one of the key antioxidants that neutralizes free radicals, helping to protect cells from damage caused by oxidative stress. This is particularly important as we age since lower levels of glutathione are associated with various age-related health issues. The pills are easy to swallow without any flavor to it. I am unable to say with any certainty of it’s effectiveness. The use of these or any supplements is to hopefully cover what I may miss out in my normal diet. It’s not easy to get all the nutrients you need for most people by just eating food.

I’m always on the lookout for a good quality Glutathione product. My doctor recommended that I take glutathione as part of my supplement protocol, and I found the quality in this product! Glutathione can be difficult to absorb, but it is much more bio-available in this liposomal form. I have tried liquid glutathione drops for its bioavailability, but the sulfur smell was so bad that I couldn’t get it down. These capsules are much easier to take. This is a quality product – vegetable capsule (no stearate), sunflower phospholipid for bioavailability. It is manufactured in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility, and each batch is third-party tested in US laboratories with the Certificate of Analysis available. Great company – their website is full of information that makes me feel confident in the quality of this product.

Supplements help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food, and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review that you can determine for yourself if you want to try this one out or not.
This comes entirely encased in plastic. The one benefit of that is it kept Amazon’s sticker from getting put on the label, usually right on top of what I need to read.
I love ProHealth’s bottles and labels. The label feels so good it’s almost fidgety.
This bottle comes less than half full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. If used as directed it will last one month. I’d prefer they put in more capsules and/or use a smaller bottle.
The expiration date on mine is Jun 2026, so a little more than 1.5 years from now.
There scent of the capsules may make you recoil when you first open the bottle, and you may wonder if the capsules have gone bad. Nope, that’s just what glutathione smells like – rotten eggs. I read somewhere that the stronger the glutathione supplement, the more potent the scent and taste; this must be some strong glutathione. The smaller than average capsules are easy to swallow with water.
I like my supplement bottles to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party, and made in USA. This says GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, USA manufactured, and 100% satisfaction guarantee (which is nice since Amazon doesn’t accept returns on supplements). The product page says 3rd-party tested in US laboratories and shows an Analytical Test Report dated the month this bottle was manufactured.
I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. ProHealth not only put their phone number on the bottle, but an international number as well. Their ProHealth site is functional as well as informative. They not only have customer service, but they have a chat on their site with “longevity experts” who you can chat with about your supplement questions and needs. The bios of their medical advisors is also on the site. There is too much to list, you need to check out the site.
I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I like the quality of the supplement, am impressed by the company, and like that they don’t use the fillers that other companies say are necessary.
