Purchased this to assist with my health improvement, as I could never eat enough tomatoes to duplicate this ingestible amount.

This is my first time buying this product.
Unless you have a precise scale to measure the amount (dosage) of product per serving in grams by weight, it will be extremely difficult (maybe imposible) to figure out the right dosage to use.
I opened the bag believing that a dosage measure “spoon” or media was included, to my surprise it was NOT.
Now, since the package has been opened, it’s impossible to return it.
When I bought the product, I thought they where going to facilitate a “spoon” or something that will capture the right dosage. But to make it more complicated for me, all measurement are in grams and miligrams not ounces.
They should have place an alert, stating that a precise scale (grams or miligrams) is needed to use the product.
The below statement was taken from the page after the fact…. obviously, I did not read it because it was not that easy to find.
“Each serving of this product contains 10mg of Lycopene for every 200mg serving and needs an accurate milligram scale to measure.”
Tomorrow will go to Walmart to purchase a precise accurate scale….

Lycopene is important to have in our diets according to Dr. Bruce Ames’ Triage Theory. Tomatoes & other foods that contain it do not agree with me. I started taking this supplement, and I do not have any digestive issues with it.

Don’t waste your money. The Lycopene product is advertised as clean and pure but when I got it, I read the label further and discovered it contained massive amounts of table sugar and other fillers. I know the difference between crap like this and a good quality Lycopene supplement because I have been using Lycopene supplements for some time. The seller is also very difficult to deal with because they send me contradicting emails. First instructing me to return the product and then following up with an email indicating that they will NOT honor a return. They provided a phone number to Amazon that was no longer valid, so I had to actively search for a contact number that was active. I would give this item and this company a “Negative” star if that was an option but one is the least I can do. Fortunately, Amazon graciously gave me a full refund, so I didn’t lose out on this purchase. I hope this information helps you!

Be aware that this product is deceptively advertised. The “200 mg per serving” is actually the “serving size,” not the lycopene content. Only 5% of the serving size is lycopene, so your “200 mg per serving” yields only 10 mg of lycopene. A level teaspoon of the powder weighs about 1000 mg (1 gram), which contains 50 mg of lycopene (0.05 x 1000 mg). Most of the powder (95%) is corn starch, sucrose (table sugar) and gum arabic. The weight of the powder in the package is listed as 500 grams. This means the lycopene content of the package is 25 grams or 25,000 mg (500 x 0.05). This is equivalent to 500 capsules of lycopene in which each capsule contains 50 mg of lycopene — the largest dose currently available in capsule form.
Lycopene is fat soluble, so it will not dissolve in water-based liquids. You will need to sprinkle it on foods like a spice. The foods should contain fat to enhance lycopene absorption. For example, I sprinkle the powder on cottage cheese (4% milk fat).
