I take NAC for trichotillomania. Apparently, according to studies, it can decrease compulsive hair-pulling urges after about 12 weeks of use. I have taken it for 2 weeks so it’s too soon to tell whether it will help my trichotillomania or not, but I rated it 5 stars because I believe this is reputable company. The product is good and the shipping is fast. I normally but this at the store, but it’s much cheaper on Amazon!
I recommend buying this particular size of NAC (600mg) because they’re fairly large pills. Any higher dosage is going to be difficult to swallow, especially if you tend to get anxiety when swallowing large hard pills.
I checked out other brands of NAC on Amazon, but ultimately settled for this brand because I trust them! I hope that helps!

From disappointed to very satisfied –
I bought this hoping it might help my mom’s cognition. Wasn’t sure it was working until I was out of it for four days. It really does help her to have more lucid days. Without it, her atypical parkinsonism is a lot worse.
It works but needs time to kick in.

I, I, I am not sure about these. Been taking them for over 2 months now and I really don’t see any results at all. Usually, I can pin results on a mineral I am taking. I just don’t see the results. I did put them on a subscription and now have 4 extra bottles not used yet. I will continue to take and see if 6 months leads to any notable results and if so: I will post. If Not, this post will not be extended.

usually vegan supplements are pricey and work well, or affordable and work ok/not great. this is the quality of a pricier supplement for a very fair price. bought twice already, will buy again.

This is the only version of NAC that works for me for some reason. I have tried other brands and they absolutely do not get rid of my UTIs. I get UTIs and a lot of issues from fibromyalgia this helps a lot of them. If you have fibro please look into this supplement as it helps a lot. Or if you simply have problems with your kidneys or even if your pets do as well it’s good for cats and dogs that have such issues. Definitely get the powdered version of this for them. For some reason my cats don’t mind the smell of it and won’t eat it. I wouldn’t recommend a normal person eat it as it does smell like rotten eggs that is why I get this pill version.

I purchased and began using this supplement after much online research and after checking out the validity score of this brand’s Amazon reviews. I’m primarily taking this (one caplet, twice each day while staying well-hydrated – during daylight hours when I can respond to the effect by coughing out loosened phlegm) to help improve my COPD symptoms. (Not all COPD is the same, so I suggest that you manage your expectations when trying this.) It has very certainly helped me by loosening the viscous, hard-to-expel mucous in my chest (I developed chronic bronchitis early this year after a bad bout with that nasty flu that hit the country). It doesn’t solve all my COPD problems but it has been helpful in making it a little more manageable. Make sure to do your own research on pubmed.gov (there are a lot of related studies there… and it’s almost all very positive – and not just for COPD symptoms). I’d also advise you to run it by your doctor. N-Acetyl-cysteine has a low incidence of side effects and drug interactions but it’s always best to err on the side of caution. Finally, thanks to the company for this quality product.
