My Husband gets a lot of kidney stones, or he used to until he started taking the tart cherry and limiting his intake of cane sugar.
I also use tart cherry and had been using another brand of to help with the acid in my urine. I was amazed at how it brought my acid levels from acidic to alkaline testing with those PH test strips that you either spit or pee on. I pretty much stay in the range of 7.5 when using tart cherry. If tart cherry can lower the uric acid, then I figure eventually it will lower the acid in my blood also. I know I am having a lot less joint pain, so I would say it is working well.
Since it helped me, I figured it would help my Husband with his kidney stones. I told my him that he can’t keep getting kidney stones and think he is healthy. I have seen him fall to the floor and roll around in pain …. all because of a little kidney stone. Those little buggers can cause a lot of pain for their size. The last time he had them he had to get them blasted and you can only get those blasted so many times. Even though he had them blasted, there was still a couple in there that the Dr was watching.
So, He started taking the Tart Cherry that I had on hand, then when he ran out he ordered the Tart Cherry from Alema Kidney Health. He thinks this brand is working better than what I had been using because it has a lot more tart cherry in it than the other brand. That is actually why we picked this brand.
The last time he was at the Dr, they told him the stones are getting smaller. My Husband ask him if it might be because of the tart cherry. Of course the Dr. said no. But we truly believe it is the tart cherry and his diet of limiting his sugars.
Normally this time of year, my Hubs gets a kidney stone that starts moving around and causing him pain. So far so good!
I am also taking this brand now and still testing in the alkaline range so these are working for both of us.

I’m not sure yet if this product works but in giving it 3 stars because I have not seen any side effects either. I’m on my 2nd bottle and take 1 capsule 2-3 x day. Still waiting for the anti inflammatory benefits and possible blood sugar lowering impact. I don’t eat fruit because I follow a Ketogenic protocol so this is one way for me to get the polyohenols and anthocyanins (sp?) that I wouldn’t get other wise from bright colored fruits.

My gout had flared up again – AGAIN! I had a busy week ahead and could not sit around with my feet up all week. Heard from a friend how tart cherry would settle down the pain of the gout. So I ordered this product. Arrived as promised (April, 2016) and I thought – well, here is another pill – ugh. But I won’t know until I try it – so there I went. Within two days pain and swelling had reduced – took two capsules with every meal. Day four – no pain and hardly any swelling – day six – no pain and no swelling. It was a good thing cause I has having to stand alot that day. Now it is June, 2016 – I will keep taking two capsules every day – just before dinner. I don’t want the pain and swelling of gout to return. Give it time – you didn’t get gout overnight. This is a worthwhile product!

I have been using this product for 5 days and so far I am very happy with it. I purchased at the recommendation of a friend that has severe joint pain. Following the instructions, I take it 3 times a day. It is recommended to take with food however I have taken it on an empty stomach as well. I have a very sensitive stomach and these did not cause me any issues. They don’t have an odor and they are easy to swallow. I am hoping that with continued use, these will help with my joint pain as it did for my friend.

So far so good with this brand of tart cherry capsules. Yours truly indulges a bit in craft beers (or a lot more than a bit, but we’ll not talk about it!) so I figured some supplement in kidney/liver health is in order. I’ve tried another brand, and was getting it as an Amazon subscription, but those guys kept changing prices, so I said screw it.
Then I found this brand, with its many good reviews so I gave it a try. Like I’ve said, so far so good. Seemed to be meshing with me well. With me watching what I eat and drink, plus taking this thing, I’ve managed to keep my previous minor gout, at bay.
Final verdict, good brand at a reasonable price. Also kudos for the seller to contact me to make sure I’m satisfied with their product, I am, but just been too lazy to give them feedback. So here it is, two thumbs up for this thing!

I used to eat 10 cherries a day for gout prevention. I learned of their benefits from Prevention Magazine. I was able to control it with diet some of the time, but not always. And gout attacks are VERY painful. However eating cherries every day gets over whelming, boring and expensive so I looked for another way to get the benefits without having to consume them every day! I’ve been using the tart cherry capsules for years. A good alternative in my opinion.
