This CoQ10 comes in potent 400mg per softgel. I take statins for my heart and some recent studies show that taking adequate amount of Coenzyme Q10 can mitigate some bad debilitating side effects of statins. CoQ10 are naturally found in our body especially in our heart muscles. But they showed that taking statins deplete the enzyme to some degree.
I did not believe too much in supplements unless there are good reasons I may lack them before taking them. So I only started taking CoQ10 the last few months after I was put on Statins. So far I have no side effects. I have no muscle pains or tiredness. My doctor is very happy I continue to take the moderately high dose of statins without difficulty. My recent lab shows that my metabolic panels have come to healthy levels. He agrees that taking CoQ10 may be helpful.
This product comes as Ubiquinol form. This is the superior form that is more potent and easily absorbed by the gut, but more expensive. The other form you can buy cheaper is Ubiquinone form. These are more commonly found in the supermarket shelves. But it’s worth the extra cost to maintain good heart health.
I like that the label warns you that if the softgels stick together and clump up, place the bottle in the refrigerator and gently shake the bottle. That’s a good advice. Sticking together has happened to me before with other softgels.

These soft gels were small enough to take without water and went down smoothly. I liked that black pepper was included in the ingredients list for absorption. The packaging was well labeled and informative.
