It is similar to other Acetyl carnitine but no fillerI use 4 caps per day , some time 6, so filler will add up, happy to find this without filler. I also found Bestvite also to be filler free

This is my first experience with Earthborn ALCAR, after using ALCAR power and capsules from numerous other companies. The Earthborn version seems exactly as advertised: well made, reasonably priced, professionally prepared, nice clean packaging. I will definitely purchase again when I’m done with my initial order.
I’ve been taking ~1,500 mg/day for a few years now. I believe I’ve benefitted from taking ALCAR, recognizing some of the health improvements this supplement is suppose to provide. I feel the exact same with the Earthborn version. Truthfully, the perceived benefits are no greater, or less, than several high end brands I’ve tried. Given the significantly higher cost of those brands, despite their serious professional lab and quasi-medical vibe, Earthborn’s more reasonable price represents a true bargain.
I have tried even cheaper brands, but none seem to work as well, or at all. Several came in cheap, non-air tight packaging, and some had a weird yellow tint. From this experience, the Earthborn ALCAR is my new minimum cost standard. It’s a good product, not exactly cheap but much less than other brands of this quality)
One issue I’ve noticed with this brand is the gelatin capsules appear thinner than some I’ve tried. This probably means they dissolve more quickly when swallowed, presumably a plus. However, they also begin to dissolve more quickly when exposed to air, heat, and humidity. I’ve had to change my habit of putting out all my supplements in the morning, and taking them periodically throughout the day. After a few hours, the Earthborn ALCAR capsules begin to get soft and gummy. The power inside also tends to bond together, pulling away from the inside surface of the capsule, as air starts to penetrate. This problem is easily solved by keeping these ALCAR capsules safe inside their container until it is time to take them. Not a huge imposition but an issue potential buyer should be aware of. (I’ve experienced this issue with some other brands of ALCAR capsules as well).
I’m pleased with the Earthborn Elements ALCAR, and plan to try some of their other supplements.

These were fine until about halfway through the jar, when the capsules began to distintegrate, and the powder inside started to leak and/or liquify. Storage conditions were no different from all my other scrips, vitamins, and supplements, and this is the only one that’s experienced this problem. I was trying to finish them up (keeping them separate from other capsules/pills, because they were now sticky), but they’ve also began to small a bit odd, so I’m buying another brand and starting over.

Hi, this product has heavy metals in it – will not buy again. And I tried to ask for a refund before 30 days was up and it said the product did not qualify – I am not sure why – but I am annoyed.
