I have taken a couple of other brands of NAC. And this one works the same. It’s a slightly smaller capsule than other brands and is easy to swallow. It’s 600 me which is a good dose for me. And yes, it smells like the devil, like all my other NAC brands have. Definitely not pleasant. But absolutely good for you.
Recommend this brand. Seems the same high quality as some of my other go to brands.

I’m sure the product is excellent quality, but my usual source for NAC is a very well-known online supplement company (starts with ‘Swan’, ends with ‘son’) and they are literally less than half the price of this brand for their Aji-Pure pharmaceutical grade.

N-Acetyl-Cysteine is a powerful antioxidant. It is a precursor to glutathione, which is used by your liver to process toxins. Glutathione is synthesized by the body, but in limited quantities. It is also poorly orally available. Thus, supplementation with NAC is desired.
NAC is used to combat acetomenophin overdose in a clinical setting. As a result, the FDA declared it would become only a prescription drug, and not a dietary supplement. That decision has since been amended, and NAC is now again available as a supplement.
This supplement can be used to combat symptoms of alcohol overindulgence. It works fantastic in this application. These particular capsules of NAC perform similar to other brands. Yes, the pills have a lousy odor when you open the bottle. All NAC supplements do.I would absolutely recommend this product for your N-acetyl-cysteine needs.

I wish I would have read the ingredients before ordering, but hopefully my review helps someone else who cares. These are filled with all kinds of ingredients that aren’t necessary or that great. Just do some research. I have no idea why they would add them. They also smell bad. Other brands don’t add anything, smell neutral, and you get pure NAC powder on its own. I’ve been using Pure Encapsulations prior to ordering these and will continue now. I hope someone finds this brand helpful, but I’ve spent the past year detoxing, including with pure NAC, and I can’t bring myself to take these and they are non returnable.

I’ve been taking Pristine’s NAC for about a month and a half now, and I’m happy with how it’s been supporting my overall health. I feel like my immune system is stronger, and I’m noticing a positive impact on my mood as well. Had somewhat of a nasty head cold and the NAC seemed to help keep my mucus thin and get me over the hump quickly. I appreciate that it’s a vegan and gluten-free supplement and that they make all their testing available. Huge plus! Also not sure what the one reviewer is talking about saying that this has a weird smell or has other ingredients in it, it’s a very pure supplement. I’ll definitely continue to come back to this brand.

This supplement has not shown much, if any, effectiveness. Still trying to adjust dosage, but recommended dosage has not been effective, to-date (a couple weeks). The delivery ETA changed several times and took very long, so if I reorder, will have to give it at least 2 months lead, based on this experience.
