These are great creatine capsules. Healthy Origins makes excellent quality products, and this is no exception. I also like that they used trademarked “Creavitalis” brand creatine. That being said, I wish they contained more creatine per capsule. At 625mg per capsule, that means I have to take 8 per day to get my full 5000mg daily dosage of creatine. Some other creatine capsules on the market contain 1000mg or even 1250mg creatine per capsule.

If you’re looking for high quality, but small creatine capsules, these are a great choice. I’d rather take powder than deal with swallowing 8 pills per serving, however.

If you do not mind taking pills, these are an easy way to get your daily creatine intake. Pills are easy to swallow but you need to take 4 to get 2.5g of creatine. I usually take 5g a day which means 8 pills total. I break it up into 4 in morning and 4 in evening. I think I’ll go back to powder and add it to shakes and water instead of taking 8 pills day.

I have mixed feelings about creatine in capsules. On the one hand, they are in many ways more convenient than the powder. But the powder is not really bad. I mix it into my pre-workout drink or, often, just drop the scoop of powder on my tongue and wash it down with water. It has no taste. It’s not unpleasant at all. But capsules are capsules, designed to be swallowed, unlike a lump of powder.

For this capsule convenience, you will have to pay a price. I won’t fault the creatine in these one bit. I think it’s great. But on the label it says four capsules are a serving and you get sixty servings per bottle. You have to realize, though, that for them a serving is 2,500 mg., while for most people a serving is 5,000 mg. Some quick math tells me I have to take eight of these things at a time and I’m only getting thirty servings in a bottle. It’s just not a great value at that point.

All that said, if you absolutely want capsules, and cost per serving is not an issue for your, this is a good choice, in my opinion.

This seems to be a good quality Creatine so far.

    – Capsules are easy to swallow
    – No odd aftertaste or ill effects
    – Price/Value is very good
    – Label has GMP stamp and claims 3rd party lab tested (however I haven’t seen the COA yet)

I haven’t had any problem taking these, but I’m only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I’ll revise my review accordingly.

It’s usually pretty hard to tell whether you’re getting exactly what you think you’re getting in a supplement, but at least to judge by the label this is what I’m looking for a in a creatine capsule. The dose is right–I take 2 capsules a day–and the ingredients list looks legit. The capsules go down smoothy. A decent value compared to other creatine products, and I appreciate not having to eat a gummy in order to get a good dose of creatine. So I’m happy with it.

Product came nicely packaged with no off smells or taste.

The pills are small enough where I can take all 4 at once, though most people probably wouldn’t.

Really the only issue to be aware of is that their serving size (4 pills) is 2,500mg, while most other brands say that 5,000mg is the correct serving size. If the latter is right, it means you need to take 8 pills per day and use the product twice as fast.

I feel like I review a lot of creatine supplements, and this certainly will not be my last, but creatine is one of those supplements that I feel are necessary for any serious weight training or athletic training. Naturally, I will take any chance I can get to seek out another solid one to add to my supplement list.

This is another case of convenience at a cost. Creatine powder is probably the most common and popular form of creatine that you will find, but it is not always convenient to be mixing it all the time. The good thing is that these capsules are easy to consume and there is no mixing powders with beverages or post workout mixes, protein powders, etc. However, the cost of this convenience is that at 4 capsules you are looking at only 2.5g of micronized creatine. At 2.5g, this yields you 60 servings, but only 30 if you take the typical 5g serving found in most powders, and you need to take a whopping 8 capsules to accomplish that. Anything over that 5g, then you are looking at a proportionately reduced amount of servings that cuts into the value over the powder form.

Now, with all that taken into consideration, these are a great a great alternative. Therefore, if you are on travel, or just need to supplement your creatine requirements while on the move, then these will easily do the trick. You don’t need to worry about mixing, creatine clumping up, or lugging around a tub of powder in your travel or gym bag.

At roughly 25 bucks, you are getting what appears to be a quality creatine supplement with no noticeable side effects or GI discomfort. However, compared to some big name brands that offer close to 60 5g servings of micronized creatine powder at about 30 bucks, the convenience will come at a cost.

Been using Healthy Origins Creatine for a few weeks with a noticeable increase in strength and no stomach discomfort. I have used regular creatine monohydrate in the past, but it caused me stomach upset so I haven’t used for a long time. I was surprised after only a couple weeks my lifts all started creeping up, nothing major but definitely noticeable. While more expensive I don’t like dealing with powders, so these are very convenient.
