The first time I purchased this product, there was no odor, and everything seemed fine. My latest batch that I recently ordered had a horribly strong odor as soon as I opened it. Unfortunately, I can’t return it, but wanted to leave this review so maybe changes can be made on how supplements are stored in the warehouses before being shipped out. The expiration date was fine (2026), but clearly it had not been stored properly, or it spent too much time in the heat during shipping, and so went bad well before that. So, take precautions when ordering supplements please.

It helps fight my sugar cravings but has a yucky taste and texture. Definitely do not have it in water. Barely do-able in room temp coffee.

This “It’s Just” brand of L- glutamine powder is not the cheapest brand on Amazon, but it did have the best reviews, as in no reports of illness or nausea, etc, after ingesting it, so that’s why I chose to try this brand. I’ve been taking it with no problems. After I started using it, I did notice less muscle soreness the next day after hard exercise. I’m also taking it to heal suspected leaky gut. I take 1 scoop as directed every morning; I just mix it into my morning drink and can’t tell if there’s a taste; if there is, it’s not a strong taste.

The powder dissolves completely and easily. Does not leave residues in the water. It has no unpleasant taste and when you drink it you have a generous sensation of absorption in the stomach. I recommend it.
