I’m not a body builder, but I thought these amino complex pills would help with recovery after racing/training (I am a triathlete). I liked how these pills included an amino acid complex along with whey protein and creatine monohydrate. And, at $25 for 82 servings, it’s a good deal. However, the pills are very large and somewhat difficult to swallow. One serving is 4 pills, and the directions say to take 4 pills before and after a workout. That seemed overkill for me, so I do 2 pills before and after hard workouts. It is probably too soon to determine if these have any effect, but I feel a little more reassured that I’m recovering well after taking these. The other thing I don’t love about this supplement is that there are no nutrition facts. The only thing stated on the label is the amount, in mg, of all the ingredients. There is no information about how much of each ingredient is present in the supplement. I’m assuming there is some amount of calories in this product, but it’s probably not too high. The caloric content is not given either. I’d be inclined to give this supplement 3.5/5 stars, but because it is such a good deal, I’ll give 4/5.

These pills are huge. They are literally the biggest pills I’ve ever had to swallow. I’ve gagged on a couple of them. But I’ve learned to wet my throat and make sure I suck them in vertically and not horizontally. I have to chug a big swig of water on each pill. I’ve been taking them every morning for the past few days before my workout. First thing I feel is the energy boost from the creatine. I’ve also gained a couple pounds of muscle which also could involve water retention. But I feel stronger and feel better after taking these every morning. I started off with two the first day and I’ve worked my way up to the recommended dosage of four a morning. This is a big tub of these pills so this will last a long time. Definitely happy and recommend supplement blend!
Intrigued and Intriguing –
There is an amino complex blend on the ingredient list, but it doesn’t break down the amount of each individual ingredient and how much of each ingredient is part of your RDA percentage. I’d also like to see on the package that these are 3rd party inspected. They are made in USA in a GMP facility which I like. And they are a good deal. Pretty large pills which may bother some but were fine for me. No negative reactions to this supplement.

My major complaint is that how do you not list the amounts of the ingredients individually? IF there is whey protein in this wouldn’t you have to list the calories for the protein. Or the amounts of creatine? These pills are rather large and the amount you need to take seems like a lot too. I just don’t think I can even take these because it doesn’t say the amounts of what is in them. Show me the mg of each ingredient and I will give these a try.

I have been lifting for 26 years and have taken supplements over the years, but this was my first time taking amino acids to help with muscle growth and recovery. I do like the added bonus that this bottle also has creatine, which is just one less thing I need to worry about adding to my shakes in the morning.
I have been on a pretty consistent routine for years, and stuck with a Poliquin style routine of 6 x 12 x 25 for all body parts to keep a baseline for trying the product. I did have slight gains of around 6% on each body part give or take a %, the biggest difference on the set of 6, I am usually tired on the 12 and 25 rep sets and can’t push as much there. In the use of the bottle I gained 2.5 lbs of lean body mass with my attempts to still eat clean during the time.
I did happen to have a physical and blood test while on the product, and everything came back at acceptable levels. My creatine did come back on the higher side of the scale of acceptable levels, but not above which is good.
The dose is 4 pills per day, and the pills are a little large. If you have a hard time with larger pills this might be the only thing that holds you back from buying the product. I took a picture next to a fish oil pill for scale.

The pills to this amino acid are huge. You need to have a good amount of water to swallow these. Not only does this contain amino acids, it also has whey protein and creatine. Although, t doesn’t state how much weight protein or creatine it has. I already take that as a supplement so a little more can’t hurt. I feel pretty good taking these, it gives me good energy.

These are not just supplements, they have whey in them!? Though they do not say how much whey they included or even the calorie or protein content. Also, the pills are hard and HUGE and very hard to swallow. I am surprised they do not tell you how much each nutrient content is as well as no calorie content. I don’t know how much of these are safe for me to take as I don’t know how much is in them.

This supplement has a nice list of ingredients for packing on some muscle mass. I am not the biggest fan of the nutrition label just saying a blend with the total mg contents instead of breaking down the amounts of each ingredient. The blend that is here does work well though. After taking a huge gulp of water with these pills as they are large and not the smoothest, I have been getting a pretty decent amount of energy. My workouts have been excellent and it looks and feels like I am gaining muscle mass.
