My vet had told me to buy lycine for my puppy to boost his immune system, because he ended up getting the papilomavirus. My puppy was nearly 6 months when I first started him on this lycine product. I had showed the container to his vet and he said to go a head and give him the dosage on the label. By the time he was 2 weeks into taking it, he was getting really bad diarrhea. I slowed it down to every other day, it wasn’t getting better. I stopped giving him this lycine altogether, his poo started going back to normal. So I don’t know if he was just having a bad reaction since he is a boxer, and from my experiences with boxers they can have bad reactions to almost anything they ingest. Unless I give him multiple tests to find out whether he is actually having a bad reaction to Lycine or not, I am not sure about this product.
