I thought these would be better than the Amazon brand but they are soft. There is no smell but if you have to clean up something off a carpet lint gets everywhere so definitely have to get a lint brush or a vacuum after it. The size seems a bit small. I would just have to say not my best purchase. I think I should probably just stick to the Amazon paper towels next time. The prices are about the same. I just thought these wouldn’t be as cheaply made as they are They did leave lent behind while I was trying to clean up dog throw up. I used almost the whole roll so I didn’t stick my fingers in it because they are pretty cheaply made
